@taskforce21, you cannot check the serials for SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 on everymac.com (not implemented yet). I clearly state in my guide that you should forget about that part and believe in the serials provided by Clover Configurator. They are correct and they work!
Verify on appleserialnumberinfo.com instead.

they aren't hardware RAID, so you need a software RAID tools (like EasyRAID) for it to work.
So will only work on mac...

The beauty of the Pegasus hardware RAID, is that it appears as a SAS disk to the mac, and all other OS.

Do you have any other recommendations that has hardware RAID?

One specifically that is at least 4-5 bays, supports RAID5 (or 6) and comes as an enclosure already so I can just pop in the disks.

Hey there!

I bought all of my parts, spent 8 hrs building the system and now I can’t install macOS! My Specs are:

Asus Prime X299-A / Core i7 7820X / Vega 64 LC / 32GB DDR4 3000MHz / 970 Pro / Broadcom WiFi and BT

I copied @kgp attached EFI folder on my Install USB stick using clover config and added proper TSCAdjusRest (8 core) and VegaGraphicsFixUp. The systems boots clover bootloader form usb drive, I select “boot from Insall macOS usb drive) then the systems starts showing a lot of white text on black screen, at some point the system seems to shut down or to at least trying to reboot but the display shows “no signal” message. Basically I can’t get to the installation tool on the usb drive! I’ve modified 1401 BIOS as described on the guide. I wanna cry, cry hard and loud for the rest of my life :( after spending 3000 € on hardware!

Any pity soul who wants to help me going through this? Thank u all guys...

Stupid question, but are you putting the EFI folder inside of your EFI partition (Use something like EFI Mounter v3 from Tonymac) on your USB drive? It cannot go in the root of your main USB parition.

Take out VegaGraphicsFixup for now you don't need it to install.

The guide on page 1 is very detailed, try to follow through exactly as it says.

I used Clover to copy EFI folder on EFI partition of the USB drive, I suppose it is ok since i’m able to launch clover bootloader form the usb drive.

Can you run in verbose mode (-v) and take a picture of your screen and post here.

Just use AVX Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset to "3", AVX-512 Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset to "2" and see if your freezes vanish..

Good night.. 2:00 am here..
That worked!!! No more crashes or freezing! Thanks man. Phew. I though I was going to be in crash hell forever.

To run in "Sync All Cores" mode, anyone know if the Corsair Hydro H100i v2 is good enough to keep a 7940x cool? Any suggestions for a better cooling system that might run $200-$250? @kgp, your cooling system looks awesome, but maybe more involved and more expensive than I want to go.

Are you able to create a bootable Windows 10 USB SSD? At least with that, the hardware could be verified as working or not.
This adapter cable can enable using an internal SSD as a bootable USB external drive:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HJZJI84/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
Then use one of the free 3rd-party software & a Windows 10 .iso file, to make a bootable "Windows to Go" SSD created during a session on some other Windows-booted machine.
Such as:
Aomei Partition Assistant 7.x
Rufus 3.x

I might have to get a bigger case, maybe a Define R6 and put in 6 HDDs for a RAID 5/6 and maybe an HBA card and format as HFS+.

Current case is a Meshify C with only 2 HDD bays.

Probably the cheapest solution.

OR get a SAS RAID HBA card and an external RAID enclosure (which was my first option). Something like this.

There is also this, which seems fairly cost effective as a chassis. And looks good to boot. But doesn't seem like it has hardware raid.

I knew that this was going to happen in your case... Stay calm and brave and please stop whining.. ;)

Try to provide a detailed bug report like all others. Describe exactly what you did so far. Provide your BIOS settings, EFI-Folder and show at which step your macOS Installer fails booting your system.
