pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Mine ramp back down once the GPU is cool.
Ah, I needed to register to download the kext. I've applied it and ran GK4 that shown a significantly lower score of 189950. The stats currently are:
"Fan Speed(%)"=14
"Fan Speed(RPM)"=705
"Temperature(C)"=40

The power tables used are posted along with the kexts. They may not be clocked as high as your card's default settings. Directions are on that thread to edit the power tables to your liking.

Btw, 14% is excellent, the lowest mine has ever gone to is 16%.

Hello pastrychef. I'm trying to install mac by following this guide today but not succeed. After i choose my Samsung 960 pro to install, my computer automatic restart and the process can't be completed. Please help me to fix that problem.

After adding the kext I can confirm the fan speeds going up and down, depending on the usage. They're also going up far slower, so the temperatures are higher both for GPU and CPU because of that (Red Devil Vega 64 is enormous, barely fits the motherboard and chassis).
But I have issue understanding the whole kext thread, it's very chaotic and I can't see any clear instructions for it. What are the power tables you are mentioning? Does it mean I need to somehow build my own kext for the particular card? Do you know how to do it?

@pastrychef Unfortunately I've spotted another issue: the mouse cursor movement stutters every N seconds, I can move it in straight line in one direction and every few seconds it will stop for like 1/3 of a second and then continue. I have verified with USB mouse that this is not MagicMouse/Bluetooth issue :(
I will remove the fan speed kext and see if it happens as well.

@pastrychef The mouse stutter happens without the kext too :( I will have to swap the card to see if it happens with the Sapphire Vega 56 or RX 580.

The verbose is indicating some sort of graphics issue. Try installing with just the UHD 630 first and then plug in the GTX 980 Ti afterwards.

The directions I saw simply explained how to patch one of the kexts in macOS. They get their power tables from Windows. I have never done it myself. It's best to ask the guys there how to do it.

Edit:
One possible reason why your CPU seems to be hotter is because the Red Devil Vega 64 uses an "open" type cooler. The fans on that cooler blow the hot air from the GPU directly towards the CPU. A "blower" style cooler would force the hot air out of the back of the computer.

@pastrychef I've swapped the cards and now I'm running the Sapphire Pulse Vega 56. The GB4 score is 187549. The temps are:
"Fan Speed(%)"=36
"Fan Speed(RPM)"=0
"Temperature(C)"=32
The mouse stutter is still here, so it makes me wonder if it's anything to do with the EFI v3.2 I've downloaded from the post #1 for AMD graphics...

Nothing I can think of. You can try removing WhateverGreen.kext to see if it makes any difference. That's only kext that's directly related to AMD graphics. The config.plist is nearly identical to the Nvidia one and I don't think anything there can cause mouse stutter.

I think I read somewhere from someone else who experienced the mouse stutter and it was linked to AGPM (AppleGraphicsPowerManagement). Unfortunately, I can't find that thread again.

Edit:
Fond the thread. See here on discussion about AGPM:
