Where can I find the correct one? Thank you.

Same result. Any other place I can get the file?

KextBeast asks where to install, answer /L/E.
Reply with new files.
Ok, apparently my version of KextBeast was from 2010 and didn't ask me where I wanted to install anything. I got the new version and installed into /L/E and removed from /S/L/E. Here are my new files. Still no audio devices shown.

Hi toleda,

Thanks for your help. It is super appreciated.

I'm running in circles trying to get audio working on my new setup.

From the attached text file:

I have no audio showing up in my new install of High Sierra.
10.13.4/Gigabyte z370 Aorus Gaming 7/Bios F6/i7-8700K/EVGA 1080 with web driver installed and working.

Tried using MacMan's Audio fix #1 on BoomR's install page:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...z370-aorus-ug-i7-8700k-ga-aorus-rx580.245362/

Then realized it doesn't work with 10.13.4

I've uninstalled with a guide from one of the tonymac pages. I've extracted AppleHDA from the High Sierra installer and restored it with Kext Utility.

Unrelated to audio, but I'm also having problems getting the Broadcom BCM94360CD I bought from China installed and recognized. I thought they were plug and play, but apparently not. If you could point me in the right direction to get that going, it would be appreciated.

Regards,

LD

Hi,

I'm having kernel panic after patching audio. After the KP my only option was to re-install de OS using recovery partition.

I've tried all proposed options, all of them ended the same way.
  1. No audio interface is detected
  2. 10.13.4 /GA-Z87MX-D3H / i7 4770K / GeForce GTX 780 / BIOS F7
  3. Tried both MultiBeast and audio_cloverALC.command
I've no idea what to try next, having to re-install de system for every retry it makes thing very difficult.

Any ideas are more than welcome.

Thanks!
