hi-- i already bought bdm4350 the hdmi is ok but the display port can connect only at selected resolution.. is this has something to do with the dp cable used ...the cable came with the unit and i used DP #2...your bdm43650 came with a remote control?

The BDM is seen as a TV by OSX. I only use 4k@60Hz via dp. No remote control.

I have a PHL BDM4350. Sound works over dp. I use whatevergreen. Awful sound BTW, speaker(s) is/are crap.
my philips BDM4350 uhd monitor connected to sapphire nitro + rx580 8 g hdmi port no problem but when i used the display port cable provided by philips i cannot achieved 2160p @60hz at display port ..is this has something to do with dp cable provided by philips ..what tweak i have to do to achieve 60hz at display port i am also using switchresx app..please help

I vaguely remember it's a setting on the Philips, default is 30 Hz for dp. Google it, that's what I did.

Menu navigation is crap too, btw.

thanks it's in the osd setup the dp default is 1.1 and i set it to 1.2 then i achieved 2160p@60hz

Hi There, will a configuration with 2 of RX580 works?
I am planning of using it with Resolve and Premier After Effects.

Dual RX cards work for certain apps, usually they are openCl rendering type apps, but I'm not sure about those specific apps.

@Gigamaxx Hi, I bought Asus RX 560 But I am getting Signal Loss on Boot is that normal?

Yes, that midway point is where the graphics handoff from default apple display drivers to your real graphics. With IGPU I always get a line of multiple apples before the second loading bar.

With my RX cards I get the same thing and I hear the fans spin at that point which lets me know I have accelerators working.

As long as you have a screen afterward it’s a good sign you have proper graphics support.

Thank You for chiming in.
I was just wondering if the dual set up works and cards are fully recognized by the system on an hackintosh build.
As for the applications, normally the Adobe CC ones do not take great advantage of the second or any additional card, but Da Vinci Resolve, if the full paid version is used, it recognizes and exploit all the cards that are installed.
I do not know about Final cut though.
