you need to install ALL kexts to /Library/Extensions

and also make sure to keep only essential kexts in clover/kexts/other

maybe also be worth installing AppleBacklightInjector.kext which will probably help with your brightness

You failed to read post #1.

It is very clear regarding:
- the fact that ACPIBacklight.kext cannot be used as it does not work on 10.12.4+.
- also your ACPI setup is wrong. You have a PNLF device in DSDT. You must remove it or re-extract/re-patch DSDT without using the "Brightness Fix" patch.
- AppleBacklightInjector.kext is required. You failed to install it. (in fact, as noted by @feartech, your kexts are not installed correctly at all)

Your CPU is not CoffeeLake... it is KabyLake-R.

Hello,
I'm having an issue with the brightness patch.
I followed the guide carefully (a few times actually) with no luck. Whatever I do, I can't seem to get the brightness slider to show up in display preferences. This is the last piece of the puzzle I need to make my Hackintosh fully work, and I can't seem to solve it.
I compiled the report files with black.dragon74's script.
I would appreciate your help and thank you in advance!
