That level of compatibility seems to be coming for some cards (including RX 570) in 10.13.4 (see <https://egpu.io/external-gpu-macos-10-13-4-update/>). As of now I think that only works for a very few RX 580 cards.Hi there,
I've read several posts that state whatevergreen and RadeonDeinit aren't needed but I can't boot to the login screen without weg kext. The monitor states that it lost video signal. Any ideas.

update to 10.13.4 beta4 (17E170c), gets black screen on HDMI port. Only get back the screen using DVI port. Other than that, works fine in the new beta. I am using RX 560 card.Support natively without any kext added.
But, anyone know why it is black screen in HDMI port?
It does not solve the problem in my case. Thanks away.Throw in the nVidiaGraphicFixup.kext into your efi/other. That should fix the black screen issue.
I'm sure there's a cleaner way to do this, but that kext always helped me even with AMD cards.
What SMBIOS are you using? It does not solve the problem in my case. Thanks away.

You should try 18,3 which is closes to the RX5xx
Keep nVidiaGraphicFixup in there before you switch to 18,3 because it's an alternate to AGDPfix (which modifies system files). We don't want to modify system files.
I had an RX560 in an 18,3 Skylake machine and it worked perfectly with multi monitors (including HDMI)
