Hi @kgp thank for yesterday tip, unfortunately the repackaged driver didn't work.. As I install it and reboot, no drivers seem to be detected upon restart. So I'm just looking for alternatives around.

I'm sure someone else has faced this issue, so I'll try checking around. btw, I'm on the new 13.3 with supplemental update.

cheers!

The web driver patch works in 100%! Please try to find your error. I am sure you missed something.

Perhaps the issue is that I already had a webdriver.. I tried uninstalling first Nvidia webdriver, not successful, tried to install on top of the current .159 on the 17D2102 with no luck.. Installation is like a week old, so I'm clueless as what I'm missing.

Did you successfully patch and install web driver xxx.106 under 17D2102?

How did you uninstall the former web driver?

I used the 106 as suggested, patched the driver with the tool in your post under 17D2102, just followed everything..

Then I uninstalled the webdriver with system preferences, unlocked the padlock and followed the Nvidia uninstall utility. restarted and then installed the driver as normal.. Restarted and nothing happened.. It's weird because there is nothing Nvidia related in Library/Extensions location..

There is nothing in /Library/Extensions/ like NVDA after the web driver installation?

Impossible my friend..

Big Progress in Skylake-X/X299 HWMonitoring

After a extensive tweet session between @BJango, @gxsolace and myself, it seems that we approached a major step forward towards a correct Skalyke-X/X299 HWMonitoring based on the HWSensor and FakeSMC kext distribution provided by @interferenc and iStatMenus provided by @BJango. Many thanks to both @interferenc and @Bjango for their awesome and extensive contributions and just brilliant work!

The recent iStatMenus beta distribution can be achieved here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/bjango/files/istatmenus6/957.zip …
The HWSensor and FakeSMC kext distribution of @interferenc can be achieved here: https://github.com/interferenc/HWSensors
To compile the the HWSensor kexts, perform the individual steps detailed below:

1.)
Code:
git clone https://github.com/interferenc/HWSensors
2.)
Code:
cp HWSensors ~/Desktop/
3.)
Code:
cd ~/Desktop/HWSensors
4.)
Code:
xcodebuild -project Versioning\ And\ Distribution.xcodeproj/
5.)
Code:
xcodebuild -project HWMonitor.xcodeproj/
6.)
Code:
xcodebuild -project HWSensors.xcodeproj -alltargets

Subsequently, one finds the all compiled binaries in ~/Desktop/HWSensors/Binaries/.

Note that all compiled kext binaries are once more attached below. Just download and unzip HW-Sensors.zip and copy all kexts to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/.

Remaining problems:

a.) CPU Package Cores and CPU package DRAM power consumption apparently not supported by sensor kexts...
b.) GPU Fan speed at 100 rpm for water blocked Nvidia GPU :)

Enjoy and have fun,

Hi KGP, my I ask which one is your preference choice ?

Impossible my friend..

Exactly, nothing there after I install the driver... When I install the official .159 theres all the NVDA stuff there, including the NVDAStartupWeb.kext

As I remove, or install on top the patched driver, nothin is there..

Then something went wrong with the web driver patching?
