Yeah, you are making the same mistake like others... there is much more that produces the sound. ;)
And if you don't hear the Fan you are just use a loud system or you are deaf (sorry for that). Iam very sensitive for noise. ^^
Just look, because you said same SoundChip. Both using ALC1220, the Aorus Gaming 7 Pro has complete the same as the designare EX:

Never mind, you know ever everything better. Think what you want.
Just read more about shielding, opamps, DACs and we can continue discussion. It makes no sense to talk about with someone who don't know the basics.

Its the same as your deliding offer, everyone can buy the deliding tool for just 50€. (or with fastening clamp for free). Its so easy (made it so many times, even for others and for free!), but I know its better to give you 40€ for that. ;) I though we are a community, I don't like it if humans like you trying to make money from other users. ^^

So no discussion with me about the Designare EX. Its made too expensive and in many points not as good as the X299 deluxe. (my opinion, and even acknowledged and measured).

So have Fun with your Board, thats the point which is important.

True, but you said "same Chip so same quality" too! ;) And thats not true. (88.9db vs 112.7 db is a really really huge difference)

P.S. I own a Digidesign Protools HD2 System... so I think I know the difference too.

P.p.s. But lets stop this, I don't wanna fight. You are right in whatever you are saying. ;)

One last time.... I said:
Audio Section is better on X299 Deluxe,
your answer was:
GIGABYTE X299 Designare / ASUS X299 Deluxe use exactly the same sound chip!!! Its the 1220...

So, you are saying audio section is not better because its the same chip. And thats the point I say you don't know the basics. There are professional expensive audio cards with the same chip like 20$ low budget cards. So again, same chip and... ;)

Please don't try to sell me for stupid.

Now you got it! ;)

Fantastic news my friends!

Just installed 10.13.3 public beta 6 (17D2046a)

And we have fully native HWP (Intel SpeedShift Technology) Power Management for all Skylake-X Processors, including the i9-7980XE!

No XCPM patches, no FakeCPUID, no ssdt.aml! Beautiful and fully native HWP Management for all Skylake-X processors!

Update:

BTW.. The same also states for 10.13.2 SA (17C2205) ;) Just made this additional discovery.

Now updating EFI-Folder and guide

Major Guide Update completed

A new EFI Folder has been attached to the originating post of this thread (guide) and is once more attached here below.

EFI-Folder related modifications:
  • Implementation of Clover Boot Loader Clover_v2.4k_r4390
  • Removal of FakeCPUID from config.plist in Section "Kernel and Kext Patches" of Clover configurator
  • Note that by default, there is one remaining yet enabled XCPM patch in the config plist of the new EFI-Folder distribution, namely "xcpm_core_scope_msrs", which can be disabled by all users with unlocked MSR 0xE2 mainboard BIOS register.
No XCPM Kernel patches, no FakeCUPID, no ssdt.aml, just beautiful native HWP (Intel SpeedShift Technology) CPU power management for all Skylake-X CPUs.

Guide-related changes:
  • Revision of Abstract and Introduction
  • Revision of Table of contents
  • Update of Section B.1) - ASUS Firmware Patching with respect to new ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe BIOS Firmware 1102. ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe BIOS Firmware 1102 X299D.CAP has been implemented and attached to the guide and is once more attached here blow.
  • Revision of B2.) - ASUS BIOS Configuration
  • New handy Section E.1) - HWP (Intel SpeedShift Technology) CPU Power Management Configuration. Former Section E.1) has dramatically reduced due to the now fully native HWP (Intel SpeedShift Technology) CPU Power Management Implementation for all Skylake-X CPUs.

Enjoy and have fun

This is awesome!

I was just thinking earlier, the only thing missing from this awesomely native hackintosh......is if we could load ozmosis on our boards. (im not certain if it is possible)

Great thread and efforts! Maybe I will build my next WS also based on this concept.

Regarding power consumption I can deliver the value for my 10 x i7 4790K (no OC) Rendernode System for comparison: Under full load (Cinema 4D R19 Teamrender using Arnold at 4/2/2 or 5/2/2 and all simulations baked/cached) I have a constant total arround 6A at 220V, depending on polycount/complexity. One node: GB 16'500, CB R15 cpu 890, costs 700$.

The solution presented here is just perfect for a hi-end WS many of us were waiting for!
But as TECH_ATTACK alread mentioned, it's not really an advantage in terms of costs and power consumption when planning a renderfarm.

@shael : Ozmosis is not possible!
Even if they would find a way for it, I would still use Clover because it’s much better for editing/updating files.

@shael.. with our new system configuration, any macOS update can now be nearly performed like on y real Mac, i.e. directly from the macOS System Disk via the Appstore, even without Ozmosis. Only the "Install macOS.. " and "MacOS.." partitions have to be manually selected in the Clover Boot Menu during the macOS update procedure.
