same problem here on z270,
just created a sierra usb from unibeast 7 and try it in the same machine: the HFS partition to install is shown.
Hmm so it seemed to work with Sierra but not High Sierra? Is this correct?

I'm going to hop on this thread too, since it seems to be getting a lot of activity (I started my own thread with this same problem here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/no-boot-device-option-when-trying-to-do-a-clean-install.242047/). My hardware is a bit older (Gigabyte GA-Z87-MX-D3H and an i7-4770K) but I'm getting the same issue of Clover not being able to see the "Install macOS High Sierra" partition on the same USB stick. When I plug misc SATA drives, it sees every one with a Windows or El Capitan boot partition on it. Just not the "Install High Sierra" partition on its own USB stick.

I just had a thought. I wonder if Clover can see a Windows or El Capitan installer partition on a separate USB stick. IE - is this an issue with all attached USB drives, or just the partition on it's own drive? I know I have a Windows one around, not sure if I still have an El Capitan one. I'll test those if I do.

I guess a second test could be, using CCC to copy only the "Install macOS High Sierra" partition to a separate USB stick and see if Clover sees that. Or something along those lines.

Well, Clover can see my Windows 10 installer USB stick and my El Capitan installer USB stick, so it's not an issue with Clover not being able to see any USB drives. It seems to specifically not be able to see the 10.13.2 installer partition, neither on the same USB stick as Clover was booted from, nor on a second USB stick I made using Unibeast.

I'm using CCC now to copy the High Sierra installer partition to a second USB stick. If that doesn't work the last thing I'll try is making a High Sierra installer USB stick from the terminal and see if Clover can see that. If it can, then it seems the issue is Unibeast. If Clover still cannot see it, then I'll assume it's something to do with Clover not being able to play nicely with 10.13.2.

Really wish I had access to a 10.13.1 version installer, just to confirm for myself that the issue is only with the 10.13.2 updated installer. But alas, I do not.

OK, using CCC to create a second copy of the Unibeast-created USB installer drive did not work. Unibeast created the EFI partition and everything. But Clover could not see any High Sierra installer partitions. Trying terminal now.

No luck with a terminal-created USB High Sierra installer. Clover could not see it. I even copied the Clover EFI folder from the Unibeast created USB to the terminal created USB and was able to boot into Clover on the second USB drive, but it still could not see any High Sierra installer partitions. Unless someone can provide me with a copy of the Install macOS High Sierra.app version 10.13.1 to test, I'm giving up and going to install Sierra and just update to High Sierra. But first I'm going to bed.

That's the same thing I've thought last night before going to bed . Tried this morning and had the same result

The fact that Clover can see various other USB install drives just fine makes me think this really is something to do with the 10.13.2 update.

Why not install Sierra first and then upgrade to High Sierra from there ?

I'm about to do that. Would have been much easier/cleaner to install High Sierra directly. Oh well. I'm sure Clover or Unibeast or both will get fixed at some point.
