hello guys!
i managed to install sierra on my E570 but i got stuck with some post installments.
huge problem #1 solved:
i cant get my audio to work.
my laptop has the Conexant CX20753/4 card installed.
--> fixed the problem with the AppleHDAPatcher from Mirone and Micky
(google for it. im not sure if its ok to post links from other boards)
they did an app which makes a super job, especially when you dont exactly know what youre doing (like me)
problem #2 solved :
i dont get my trackpad to work
i did the XCPM technique for native power management, installed acpibatterymanager and a patch for working battery status (patch for lenovo t440p works fine for e570). after rebooting the system, the trackpad is working as intended and can be configured like normal through the prefpan.
i dont understand why but it is somehow working now.
possible huge problem #2:
no compatible wifi
this lap has the qualcom atheros QCA9377 wifi/bt card installed. i was looking for some working cards, but then i read about that not only lenovo has a whitelist but also the tpm protection which makes it very hard to modify the bios.
i would really appreciate if someone can prove me wrong about this
//edit:
question is: is there a whitelist outthere to find out which possible cards could be working?
i will add the dump file from ubuntu for the conexant, hoping someone is able to help me. if u guys need any other additional files or infos, please let me know.
thanks in advance - each and everyone here is a hero!
