Please upload a summary of your BIOS settings and the EFI folder! I know my config.plist anyway...

Updated my original post, thanks KGP.

I followed your CPU advice, and it didn’t work with either plist, but with some further searching inspired by your plist, I used fix headers and got KGP’s to boot and begin install. Your plist is suffering some memory errors on my hardware, but I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without it. I realize that I forgot to remove the emu efi from the install USB after I started over completely. It is now successfully installing. I will continue to play between the two of them once completed. Thanks for the help!

I did't read your messages before if you wrote something before but
with your actual BIOS settings... hmm... it can be difficult to boot :p

I had the same error when I disabled Turbo Boost, so when you will change/ simply Enable this option
you should boot without any problems :D
(* if you configured your GPU settings correctly +web drivers)

so:
a) Intel Turbo Boost Technology: Disabled ---> Enabled

f.) Intel Speed Shift Technology: Disabled ---> Enabled

g.) Enhanced Multi-Core Performance: Disabled ---> can be Enabled too :)

PS: in post number #1558 I shared my config from Gigabyte motherboard if you need or want to check it one day.. :p
(* this config was without Web-drivers for Nvidia - so, don't forget to configure clover settings before boot :) )
btw: I saw your config from your shared EFI and I think it will be easier to start with my config from #1558 ;)

So after macOS 10.13.1 Apple Security Updates as @kgp mention, my 3 monitors setup now only works with 2, either DVI+DP, HDMI+DVI or DP+HDMI, but with all 3 DVI+HDMI+DP doesn't work somehow, only show 2

My Video card is RX560 2Gb, 3 output 01 DVI, 01 HDMI and 1 DP

Did try with WhateverGreen.kext v1.1.2 (even the 1.1.3) and Lilu.kext v1.2.1, didn't work out
Also did try with EFI-X299-10.13.1-Release-061117.zip, still a no-go

Fun thing I did was switching it over to MacPro 6,1 and surprising me now 3 monitors working again..
I think temporarily I will run MacPro profile till the stupid iMacPro launch then switching to it or if anyone also using 3/4/5 monitors know how to fix the issue, pls share your solution.. I don't like using MacPro profile at all, ;););)

Note: 3 monitors of mine are 1080p, nothing fancy,

Another story, couple days ago, I bought a 4K TV and I tried to use DP from my video card, HDMI on the TV, turn ON the system and got stuck at error code 97 of BIOS, NVRAM on LiveDash of the MB.. Not sure what it is...
Anyway, its Friday night, I amma grab a few beers, cheers everyone :headbang::headbang::headbang:

When I tried to create some /first config for my Gigabyte mb I started with some random EFI from internet with SMBios 19,3
what I didn't know at the begging... and it was OK for my 7900X- cool performance without any problems
so 17,1 like KGP said it was "must have" to run ssdtPRGen.sh
which we don't need any more so I thing now we can test some other SMBios versions
that was weird because on Gigabyte I used 050654 not 0506E4 for CPUID like always and SMBios 19,1
then I changed to 17,1 because it was always like that, but I did't needed that - because I don't use ssdtPRGen.sh ssdt etc..

I think it will be better for 99% of users to use exactly what KGP said in his guide,
it will be better, faster, easier to follow his rules, then he/we will be able to help someone faster...
(and other advanced users can test everything what they want) :D voila! Cheers! :p

The problem is that @kgp claims that: ,,XCPM with ssdtPRGen.sh, iMac17,1 is a must.‘‘ and that’s definitely not the case and that’s what I am talking about. Just take a look on the picture i’ve uploaded.

Also it works without ssdtPRgen.sh with SMBios MacPro 6,1.

Go ahead if you wanna follow, I mean it will not make any problems but it’s definitely not true that you need ssdtPRgen.sh for all of a kind Builds.

Nooo no nooo. he said that is a MUST if you want to use ssdtPRgen.sh
which can make a little difference, for slightly better performance etc etc etc...
but we all know that ssdt was necessary for correct XCPM before and is not needed any more, so
if you don't want to try KGP recommendation you don't have to use it :)

We can't mix ->17,1 (must be "for ssdtPRgen) with 17,1 must be because other options are not cool etc:p
* You are advanced user so it's even better if you make some tests with other SMBios versions etc and then share your experience

PS: it's not - KGP or you was wrong, - you just didn't understand each other
it's crazy how people can make a bordel/burdel (I don't know translation in EN) or simply dispute for nothing, because 1 did"t understand 2nd one with almost same things but said different

BTW: I hope my explanation is enough clear with my "low" English.. :D :p

After little (20-25 min) update from 13.2 beta 4
I'm a happy user of 10.13.2 beta 6 :D
Capture d’écran 2017-12-02 à 20.14.31.png

I don't see any difference with my GPU (Vega64)
Capture d’écran 2017-12-02 19.55.58.png Capture d’écran 2017-12-02.png

and my slightly better CPU performance (from 10.13.1) didn't come back :thumbdown, so
at this moment I absolutely don't see/feel a differences/problems or something like that :D :p

Try 10.13.2 beta 6 on 2nd SSD/HDD, maybe something will change :D
10.13.2 beta 4 was big change for AMD users, with big drivers update... few minutes ago I updated to beta 6
so if you have AMD cards, personally I recommend Update on 2nd disk and test :)

PS: You use old whatevergreen, try 1.1.3 which I use since release ... and works great here :D

PS2: Cheers :headbang:

Ähmm, ok!

Sorry but you are wrong - Perfect XCPM Performance without ssdtprgen with my 7900X.
Exactly how on SMBios MacPro 6,1.

Possibly it's that way with your 7980XE but definitely not needed for 7900X at all.

I have not said that xcpm won't work with a SMBIOS different from SMBIOS iMac17,1

:!: I just said that Pike's ssdtPRGen.sh and ssdt.aml XCPM approach won't work on X299 with a SMBIOS different from iMac17,1 :!:

Don't tell me that I am wrong when you even don't understand what I am talking about!

Once more, we discussed all that for several months and weeks. If you missed all this discussion, please go back to the corresponding posts along this thread, instead of adding already totally unnecessary statements and comments now and in the future.

Thanks for your understanding.
