[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

First of all, thank you for the wonderfully detailed guide. It really covers almost every part you should need.
Although, I am stumbling on the following problem:

I'm trying to install MacOS Sierra (not high sierra since I couldn't find the kexts for this) and I made the usb using the following guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html
I partitioned the USB with MBR, 2 partitions, 1 for clover and 1 for the install files. As described in that guide.
I've put in the following kexts on the usb:
  • FakeSMC.kext
  • GenericUSBXHCI.kext
  • IntelMausiEthernet.kext
  • RealtekRTL8111.kext
  • USBInjectAll.kext
When I try booting from the usb after setting the bios settings according to this guide (not the one linked above), I get in the clover bootloader, but after selecting my USB, it reboots and this process starts again...
I've also used the config.plist from RehabMan at https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config
The one labeled config_HD4000_1600x900.plist

-EDIT-

When "-x -v" after the boot arguments, it says: "Using safemode" and then reboots.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same kexts are used for Sierra and High Sierra.
GenericUSBXHCI.kext has no application to your hardware. Remove.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Zip file and photo attached to original post. Hard to make a photo since it is only 1 second time frame.
After the last line it only shows a line with a lot of "+" characters. Then reboot.

Could it harm having the GenericUSBXHCI.kext on the USB or should I definately remove that?

So... you are misinformed regarding your hardware (it *is* 4k).
Are you saying this 4k model is working without patching for the pixel clock limit?
HP Official tech specs state this model has two variant, one FHD, one QHD+.
Yes, my variant is 3200x1800. I didn't apply any pixel clock patches yet.

Your profile is inaccurate. Your Clover bootlog shows '8570p', but profile reads '8750p'. Please fix.
Your copy of Clover is too old.
Use my latest Clover as per guide.

No harm usually.
It does nothing with your hardware (it will not even load).
So no reason to have it.

Interesting that your internal display works without any patches for the pixel clock limit.
You are running 10.11.6. Same result with High Sierra?

If true, it is the first such case I've seen.
Please attach complete "problem reporting" files.
And 'md5' sum:
Code:
md5 /System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework/IOKit
(I will have to dig to find an md5 from 10.11.6 IOKIt)

I downloaded the version 4318 from this page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/files/Installer/
I used that to create the USB. Is that too old?

I will remove the unneccessary kext.

Use my version of Clover from my bitbucket page.
See guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Check that BIOS version is the latest.
Check your BIOS settings. Make sure you go through the exact process as per post #1 (reset BIOS to defaults, then tweak).

Also, you may need to disable AMD for installation.
Or read here:

Used version 4330 from https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/clover/downloads/
Gives me exactly the same situation. Reboot after saying "Using safe mode"

-EDIT-

Didn't see your update. Bios is the latest version from July 2017. Checked the HP website.
Would having the AMD card enabled prevent the installation from running? Could I test this with a boot argument (Like graphicsenabler?)

Do not use safe mode (the guide does not call for it).
Read note regarding BIOS version, BIOS settings, AMD status.
Also read main Clover laptop guide regarding "alternate DropTables" as it may be required.
