I'm on a Gene motherboard. BIOS 3503.
Did you have to disable sip?I'm on a Gene motherboard. BIOS 3503.
After your comment, I had another go and found the slightly skewed position for the backplate that works. Many thanks !Mine matched up. You may want to either contact Corsair's support or RMA the unit to get another one, like a Corsair H60/65.
So I tried fresh USB install in verbose, and it got into a loop of windows server time out and retry about half way through install. Same for install from Sierra and same for no APFS install.No. I only updated Clover and installed apfs.efi.
Sorry, I have no idea as to the solution of your problem. However, I can tell you that in my limited testing on my Gene build, that I was able to complete the installation successfully with a GTX 1060 and iGPU set to disable. So, try removing one of your GTX 1080 Ti's....My question is will this be corrected when the new Unibeast is released or will I still have remove them?
Thanks. At least I know where the problem is and how to fix it when I feel a need to install it. My old arthritic hands do not cooperate in taking things in and out of the case. Extra Advil will help. LolSorry, I have no idea as to the solution of your problem. As to UniBeast update, it's is still in work. The introduction of APFS has cause a delay. But, we'll have it out soon with updated guides. So, as the TV news programs say, "Stay tuned for ..."
