It sounds like iTunes' problem but it doesn't seem like it is.
My laptop is Dell Precision 5510 with 4K display and Skylake CPU.
Ever since I started testing PBs I've had iTunes crashing constantly. This only happens after I applied the pixel clock patch AND when I boot with a valid ig-platform-id (0x191b0000 in my case). I've tested iTunes with a fake ig-platform-id (0x12345678) doing all sorts of things (resizing, maximizing) and it never crashed once. I'm almost 100% sure this is graphics related.
Has anyone else had similar issues with iTunes, pixel clock patch and hiDPI display? Any insight is appreciated.
Also I've been having problem with copy & paste. It seems that it goes away after a few reboots but I wonder if it's a known issue.
The pixel clock patch:
sudo perl -i.bak -pe 's|\xB8\x01\x00\x00\x00\xF6\xC1\x01\x0F\x85|\x33\xC0\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\xE9|sg' /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreDisplay.framework/Versions/Current/CoreDisplay
sudo codesign -f -s - /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreDisplay.framework/Versions/Current/CoreDisplay
