Is your ethernet connection set at "en0" ?

I fixed this issue in a thread I started a few days ago:

"For those of you who can't login to Appstore, make sure your Ethernet built'in is set à en0 (you can see that in System Information, ioreg and Network utility). If not, then go to Network in System Preferences and delete all your devices, apply, then deleteLibrary/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist. Reboot, go to Network in System Preferences again and add your Ethernet connection FIRST. You're good to go!"
This worked for me! Thanks @Glnk2012 !

c) Click "Create" to Add Ethernet (en0) to the list

What if I don't have Ethernet interfaces on the interfaces list? I'm using a TPLink WiFi USB adapter... it worked on Yosemite with the Store Fix that was auto applied. Is that auto process available to download for Sierra? Thanks

Hey guys just installed my first build today. I've checked my ethernet its at 0, i'm using the clover bootload when i use cc it doesn't show me where i can check to see if i have the correct bootflags loaded. Tried most of the options by reading through the forum and haven't been able to login to the app store, everything else i can login into except the app store.

Why are you posting in a Desktop forum if you need help with a Laptop ?

The delete Network items solution should fix BOTH the -50 error in iTunes AND the ‘Device not recognized’ error in AppStore.

Please note you will need to delete (minus out) ALL of the items on the left hand side in System Preferences > Network and then RESTART. OSX should automatically re-add the Ethernet connection if you have one (it did for me, as for wifi I’m not sure, you may have to manually re-add it).
