What are you trying to edit to get it to install? You may have to do some manual editing to the config.plist. I think its preferable that you use a code editor for this instead of the mac os text editor. Adding things manually isnt too difficult, and there are several guides that show you. We can help you figure that out if its needed. But im just wondering if you might be able to get OSX on the hackintosh and do the editing post install with CC. Are you loading Sierra on to the new machine? The only thing that I can think of that needs changed pre-install is the CPU fakeID if you are using Kaby Lake. Maybe just on the safe side you could manually load any USB fixes pre install so that you have full access to USB. But Im pretty sure in my case the first two usb ports are recognized out of the box. I just copy all my post install tools over to the Sierra Install thumb drive so they are available as soon as things are up and running.

Keep us posted.
I'm just trying to get Sierra installed on computer. It sounds like all I need to do is FakeID and USB pre install. Is there a guide somewhere to manually doing this on the install USB I created with UniBeast?

I think you will be fine with just using cpufakeid at clover boot. You can enter it in manually at Clover boot. Go to Options > Binaries Patch > and type in the Fake CPUID number there. Since it does not permanently save this patch you will have to do this after every reboot until you are able to get in to clover configurator post install and save it in to the file. Thanks for reminding me of this procedure. I forgot to mention it in my original post.

I am also remembering that I used an old USB 2.0 header that I had around to do all of the install. I maybe should edit the original post and emphasize this fact because this motherboard does not have USB 2.0 ports on its own. If you dont have a USB 2.0 header around you may have to have USB drivers loaded pre-install.

To help you out because of your situation I will attach a copy of my EFI folder. I modified it to turn nvidia inject off so that you wouldnt have any issues with Intel HD630. I also generated your own set of serial numbers so that it is unique to your own system. This should get you connected to the imessage and such right out of the box. This should have everything preloaded for things like USB, and already has most of the changes found in the guide. Intel HD630 might even work out of the box for you if the bios is set up correctly. I would recommend trying doing everything yourself first if you can because it will be beneficial for you to know the procedure and how it all works for any troubleshooting. But this will help kickstart you if things just arnt cooperating with your situation.

I just realized that I am not actually on my Kabylake system ATM lol. So this EFI wont do you much good. I might be popping into the studio later or tomorrow and can get it packaged up for you if you are stuck.

Thanks for all your help! I will give it a shot hopefully tomorrow.

I have USB 2.0 on my case and I'm using one of the USB 2.0 headers for this so I should be good.

I currently have video going through GTX 970. Should I go through Intel HD630 for the install?

You can install macOS using the GTX 970. After you run MultiBeast in the 2nd part of the installation, don't reboot but run the Nvidia drivers installer.

However, in MultiBeast (v9.1.0+), you need to select the NVIDIA web drivers so as to "turn on" the drivers when you do reboot.
Customize > NVIDIA Web Drivers Boot Flag

Like Stork has mentioned, you can do the install with the GTX 970. But, it seems most people recommend doing that post. Just remember that for the z270 series board you will have to have emuvariableuefi-64 loaded into your clover drivers64UEFI directory for the web drivers to work. You can do this with UniBeast when you make you make your installer.

...and choosing that bootloader option in MulitBeast, too.

Well I gave this a shot last night and no success. I was not able to prepare the USB with Clover Configurator because it will not install on my notebook which has 10.7.2.

Delphius, please confirm which settings you changed in the bios. When comparing the recommendations on the
jktaurus8's guide you linked to my BIOS the only settings to change aside from graphics were: XCHI Handoff = Enabled and VT-D = Disabled. Is this all you changed or was there more?

When I try to add the CPU fakecpuid at clover boot at Options > Binaries Patch > when I type nothing appears. I can add string to boot args and I added "FakeCPUID=0x0506E3". Also mouse is not working at clover boot screen. I use mouse and pointer just moves a little but not direction I'm trying to go (connected via USB 2.0). After confirming fakecpuid was a boot flag I choose usb and system hangs. There is a white apple on black and it hangs there. No text, nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks for help!

try using verbose mode - hit the spacebar when the Clover menu appears...
