[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Here are my problem reporting files.
It successfully boot to OSX but shows no WIFI hardware installed.

You just need to boot fresh, rebuild cache right away ("sudo kextcache -i /"), then reboot.
Clover can only patch a kext that is in cache, so you have to kick start it this way...

Hi RehabMan, I can only get BT working on my HP Probook 440 G3 after the install procedure, so I guess the hardware isn't compatible, and am considering an alternative WiFi card. For my HP Probook 440 G3 is there a whitelist on BIOS?And is BCM94352Z the one I should buy?
(I read your post at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/bcm94352hmb-for-probook-440.193135/, but I still want to be sure before I pay for it. )
And thanks for your help and your guide.

Compatible WiFi/BT is covered in post #1.
Your laptop has no whitelist.

Thanks, and after I replace the WiFi card do I need to rebuild the cache? And how do I do that? Exactly like what I did for audio?

Hi I've a Probook 4540s with i5, Intel HD 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 7560m
Where can I find the SSDT files for it? I saw there are only for 4530s, maybe i am wrong. It's my first time.

Rebuilding cache is clearly shown in post #1.

Read post #1... Follow the guide as written.

To finalize this 6460b as a Hackbook Pro, I went on eBay and purchased the only WiFi chipset known to pass the BIOS whitelist AND be OS X compatible. The major point is that I now have WiFi, and I now no longer have to tether my iPhone or use an Ethernet-to-wifi bridge to connect. The downside is that download speeds are about 30% - 50% slower with the new wifi card compared to Windows with the old wifi. The old adapter was an Intel Centrino Advanced-N (model no 6205, I think.) Is it just that Broadcom cards are inferior to Intel? For $7 I probably shouldn't complain, but it annoys me to have to accept a downgrade.

EDIT: Never mind...just took some time for Steam to get up to speed. I'm topping out at my max Internet speed (a little over 60mbps, just like the old wifi adapter.) I haven't conducted any remotely scientific tests with the new adapter, just looking at Steam/internet download speeds.

I put the HP branded BCM943224HMS in my 8460p and it seems plenty fast to me.
