[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Sounds like you mistakenly enabled "fast boot" in BIOS.

Not sure what you mean. You should not use TimeMachine to restore the files... Do it manually instead.
I am trying to determine if I need to erase the disk and re-install or can I simply delete some Kexts. If I need to re-install I am wondering if I can delete the SLE and LE and re-install so I don't have to copy over the user data again.

I thought the probook install and elitebook install (laptop 1 and laptop 0) would basically have the same kexts so the time machine restore wouldn't be a problem :( (never had a problem doing it on a real mac)

only the DVI Port on DockingStation is now complete unused after load the 02040900 Patch.

No idea what you mean "now complete unused".

Now we need something to enabled the DVI Port on the Dockingstation to used the construction:

1. Monitor1 on DPtoHDMI @DockingStation and Monitor2 on DVItoHDMI @DockingStation same time

2. ProBook stand alone only with working DP (ProBook) on the side with Hotplug.

Please explain clearly.
Attach "Problem Reporting" files as per post #1.

Not possible for me to know the history behind the install you used to restore from, nor possible for me to know which settings and other kexts you may have installed.

If you want to go that route, you're on your own. It is not worth my time trying to unscrew it...

Nope, it's working as external, but when I plug iPhone ear-bug in the mic switch to line-in and external mic disappeared until I unplug the headphone. And yes, I do have input level. I'll capture the screenshot later just so you can see. I'm at the office when replying this message.

Okay, please show me some screenshots, when you plug-in iphone earpods with mic, what input devices are shown and that you have input level when you speak.

The normal behaviour should be: plugging in iphone earpods with mic into headphone jack, you should see in sound ->input -> LineIn. Then speak through the iphone earpods mic and show me if you got input level

Here is the screen shot I just took.

@RehabMan: The audio is still very unstable even after running pre-patch-hda.sh. After installing softwares, audio disappeared. Need to boot without caches and rebuild then restart.

It should be stable once you stabilize your kernel cache (eg. quit installing kexts...)

Thank you!
I will investigate what the problem is on my side. I also experienced the audio problems as you did, thats why I changed to AppleALC method. This kext is just brilliant, never experienced any unstability with it, never lost audio.
Do not understand me wrong I also like the hotpatching method of RehabMan, but it is a little bit unstable :/

Those with audio stability issues, assuming you used pre-patch_hda.sh properly, should also try AppleHDA_ProBook.kext.
It is generated by the scripts and can be installed with standard methods.
You must disable the zml.zlib patch to use it, and disable the CodecCommander pinconfigs in the SSDT.

I have no audio stability issue on my 4530s or 4540s using the default audio methods in this guide...

after trying to direct update to 10.12 i got crashed and reinstall el captian again
and after trying and trying and reading the post more than 4 times
i even re install the whole system and process 3 times from morning and after 9 hours a giveup
