Got someone osx sucessfully installed on the E5-573. I made a few Hackintoshs but with this one its very difficult.

(I have the version with i5-5200U without any second graphic)

I read everything carefully but no luck. Its very frustrating :banghead:

This is the part in the picture where it hangs.

Edit: If i patch the DSDT with the basics i can boot until the installer but no internal HDDs/SSDs detected.

And i saw while booting the installer verbose mode shows ACPI and xpc errors. Im sure my DSDT is not correctly patched but it goes forward.

I have the same problem, how did you solved?
My screen stops like the screenshot you sent.

EDIT: Hi guys!! Thanks to everyone! Now my hackintosh is finally working!
Just a tip: i found way to enable BIOS Advanced menu on our bios!
1) Open BIOS (my key is F2)
2) Press 3 times FN+TAB
3) Save changes end exit
4) On reboot, re-enter the bios
Done! Read replies of this thread :D
(Someone used F10+A to show Advanced menu..)

I found that just hitting FN+TAB ONCE and then Control-Alt-Delete restart was enough to bring up advanced menu on next startup/BIOS entry...

Hi All,

I have a V5-573 (non-G) Haswell 4500u

I am having issues with backlight (currently locked onto 100% with a patched IntelBacklight.kext). It worked perfectly under 10.12.0, but after combo-update to 10.12.4, it no longer works (slider is there, PNLF patch done in DSDT, but no change with slider at all... Night Shift works, and software solutions also works (like Brightness Slider) but only in the top 1/3 of the slider (from full to black, with only about 5 steps). Only other small annoyances are PCIe card reader not working, and combo-port autosense for headphone/mic not working (works at startup if plugged in), also sound POPS/DISTORTS for a moment when first sound plays and sound card sleeps... That's it - all else, sleep/wake, WIFI, graphics, SSD, UEFI boot, keyboard, touchpad, USB3.0 etc etc all working great!
