You did not enter the AddProperties correctly.

You put it at config.plist/Devices/Devices/AddProperties
Should be config.plist/Devices/AddProperties
Thanks, i will try that out.

Hi all. Just built a hack for a friends recording studio and trying to work out the HD530 flickering issue in the upper left hand corner. I see the text in the first thread that needs to be added to config.plist. I am very green when it comes to editing the config.plist. Actually never did it and it scares me :) . I tried to add the text to where I thought the correct section was, but alas screwed it up somehow and the machine would not boot afterwords. Big circle with a line through it. Just to be sure, would a kind soul take a look at my config.plist and insert the code in the correct place and send it back to me. I just dont know exactly where to put it.

config.plist attached.

thanks you guys !!

Use a plist editor (XCode or PlistEdit Pro) to copy the /Devices/AddProperties node to your own config.plist at the same location.
It is simple copy/paste.

simple for some I guess. Us musicians suck at computers :) I tried that and blew up the machine. Another admin added the code for me to my config.plist. I will copy that file into place later tonight and try it. fingers crossed.

You might want to work on it... Editing plists is an important skill.

Thanks again feartech. That worked .. kinda.. It was weird. I copied your edited config.plist onto my EFI partition and verified it opened in clover configuration. All was well until I re-booted. just stuck on the apple loading screen. I happen to look at bios settings as a last ditch effort and they all got reset. Not sure why copying config.plist did this, but once I loaded all the BIOS settings, machine booted back up and no more graphics tear .. thanks again

I am glad that your graphics are working!
