I'm assuming you followed my procedures in Post #1 and ran MultiBeast, correct?

How old is your hard drive? Is it using 512MB or 4096MB sectors? (See your HDD's specifications; might be on the label, but most probably on the manufacturer's web site.)

Hi

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I followed your procedures and I ran MultiBeast.

I will buy a SSD as soon as I get it full working but at the moment I am using the st250lm004 just to see how to install the OS X.
The OS X is working, just the sound is not working and I am still using the USB during the boot.

Thanks

I don't believe UniBeast put a audio driver on the USB Installation Drive because there are so many audio chipsets and driver conflict.

Now, when you try to boot from Seagate HDD, do you get a "boot0" error? Also, boot with the "-v" on and take a picture so we can see where it stops.

Hi
When you say that you're booting from USB, I am assuming you mean that the UniBeast USB drive that you made for the installation is working fine, or do you mean that you installed the Sierra OS on a flash or HDD USB drive?

If you are talking about UniBeast, it is normal that the installer works, but the full installation does not because UniBeast boots with a minimal set of drivers.

Can you boot from your HDD in verbose mode, then send a photo or screenshot?

If you are convinced it is a software problem, I would also try starting from Step 1, including redownloading the Sierra installer from the App Store and remaking the UniBeast drive.

Next, just to rule out the HDD, I would buy a new hard drive or SSD. They are not that expensive these days, especially if you buy used from craigslist or an enthusiast board like overclock.net.

Yes, is the unibeast usb drive. No, I not installed the OS X on a flash drive. I installed on a HDD (st250lm004).

I will post the last screen i can see before the pc reset itself. IMG_5878.jpg

And with -v (verbose) IMG_5881.jpg

I am not 100% convinced, I just think it is a software problem. I don't know too much about OS X.
I think it is a software problem because the system works (usb boot).
Usb working
Ethernet working

I will buy the ssd after I see it full working.

Thank you

hummm, so probably the sound will work when I fix the problem and boot from hdd. great.

I'll let the pros tackle this, but just one more question:

Do you have your video card installed, but disabled? How about trying it without the 1070 installed?

I can try without the 1070 but I really need the gpu because I will use this pc to play games. My ssd with Windows is not connected to the pc now but I will put it back when I finish the hackintosh.

Understood, but just trying to get to the bottom of why your hackintosh won't boot.

It looks like you have a kernel panic when it loads a GPU driver. I'm not sure what that means, but the big mystery is why yours doesn't work when others do. So one major variable that you have different from my build is the 1070.

When I set mine up, I just went with the most basic setup, ie., 1 hard drive, on board video, and of course the CPU and RAM. I had this out on the bench top, not in the case. Then once I had Sierra successfully installed, I tested the video card. When this was successful, I transplanted the mobo/CPU into my case. Then I sequentially started adding things back in, which were my other hard drives, my Windows SSD, the DVD-ROM, the Bluetooth dongle, etc., rebooting after I added each component. It's easier to isolate any problem devices this way.

Thank you for your help.

My hackintosh is working now.
Sound works too.
I installed as you told to do, without 1070 and then installed the 1070 after OS X installation.

I tried to install the OS X 4 times today. Since the first installation without the 1070 the system worked. I still have just one issue with the screen. white lines when the OS X is opening.

When the OS X is open, I still have the problem but not white lines. normally, the problem appears with the cursor trail (trace).

I will post the photos later.

I tried to install the intel HD 530 using the multibeast but its cause the same problem I had before ( system block at boot ). so I will keep the system with the issue.

thank you guys.

Progress! I'm glad that worked out.

I have only been following the Nvidia Pascal drivers issue peripherally, but I think some users have been able to find a work around. It basically involves disabling the GPU at BIOS when booting into Hackintosh, and re-enabling it (in the BIOS) when booting to Windows. An inelegant solution unfortunately, but it sounds like the only way to solve this issue until Nvidia releases the drivers.

With the current graphics glitches, make sure you change the video memory in the BIOS for the IGPU from 32 to 64 and see if that helps. With mine, I still got graphics glitches, but since I had it was a temporary situation, I never bothered fixing it. There is a whole thread dedicated to this if you are determined to fix it:

And make sure to keep up to date on the latest info with your 1070:
