z170mx question audio front and back..

I installed Sierra fresh w/ 1150 & 100 series from Multibeast, audio works fine both front port on PC for headphones and speakers. However when I sleep and wake I get no sound from speakers (motherboard side), however front port works with my headphones..

I tried fixing this just recently and somehow ended up bricking my computer and had to reinstall, so yes I've done my searching and ended up ruining things somehow, and at one point the sound worked from sleep but only speakers and the front port didn't work unless it was a fresh reboot.. I'd rather speak with someone who has both working after sleep/wake than risk bricking my machine again

does anyone use both ports regularly like myself, sleep their computer as well.

I found these two guides after much digging. I assume even with my multibeast 1150 & 100 series installed, I can put the kext for codeccommander on my desktop, run KextBeast, reboot. Then texteditor the config file as the second post, and try that?.. Anyone?

That doesn't solve my issue regardless of the front port..... for headphones...

Attach IOReg and installed CodecCommander.kext that show the problem.

This codec, it works when I wake I have audio off motherboard however front jack doesn't work unless I full reboot.

I fixed it by installing the LATEST CodecCommander, and editing the config prior to installing using KextBeast, used the configuration from this link https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...sleep-on-alc-1150-codeccommander-kext.197498/, then proceeded to install kext, and its been working ever since, even today after sleeping woke up 8 hours later, tested both speakers & audio jack in the front. So the latest Commander works I just edited it prior to install and copied all that info and pasted over my 1150 info in the info.plist
