Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Status
Not open for further replies.
No edits required for HD4600 HDMI audio, use native AppleHDA.kext.
HD4600/0x0a260006 does not support HDMI video or audio; wrong framebuffer
Nvidia GTX 850M not recognized, HDMI audio not possible.

Current system/HDMI audio is not repairable, suggest clean install
Select on HDMI audio method:
1. RehabMan, post to his thread.
2. Post #1 (this thread), see Problem Reporting, attach all requested files

I extracted the native AppleHDA.kext from El capitan installer and used kext wizard to install it. After that I can't boot into Mac, is that the reason you suggested me to clean install? And why my current HDMI audio is not repairable? Is that because my DSDT, SSDT, config.plist, or something else? Also, there are lots of Framebuffer in my config.plist, which one is wrong I really need to know~~~could you told me? Nvidia GTX 850M is not worked in Mac and even there is no Nvidia GTX 850m driver for mac, does which mean my HDMI(do you mean the intel Haswell HDMI or HDMI cables?) will never work?

don't have sound though HDMI
Apologies for delay.
Missed: Post #1/cloverHDMI/6. Notes/3.Skylake/HD 5x0, (remove property from config.plist, if present)/ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Item 0 (Rename HDAS to HDEF)
Edit config.plist, install, restart, reply with new files.

More than one method attempted. Only one method works at a time.

OK, I will clean install my El capitan. I just want to know what advise you can give me. Do I need to maintain all methods(I think it's ok because the system will choose the one method and audio still can work. Is that right?) or remove many of them and just reserve only one method(which one do I reserve is the best?)?
Another question, the codec and other configure in native AppleHDA.kext doesn't match my verb.txt, yet why you told me it can work? Many people tried to patch ApppeHDA.kext for their own codec from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295001-guide-to-patch-applehda-for-your-codec/#entry1980947; however, why my Intel Haswell audio can work without editing my native AppleHDA.kext? Last question, can I update my El captian(not upgrade to sierra) with my audio work still? Thanks a lot for your reply~~

Thanks very much~~I found I was confused with the verb.txt, but now I know it is the one for onboard audio. And my Intel Haswell HDMI is not onboard audio.

It flashed to me that if the clean install includes reseting my DSDT, all SSDTs and config.plist?
