Hey.
I'm trying to set Sierra up on an elitebook 8470p.
So far I've got in installed, and booting.
I've come to the point in the guide, where I type "git" in the terminal - and here I devieated from the guide, by choosing to install the full xcode package.
Now when I type "git clone https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch probook.git", I'm asked for username and password.
I read another post somewhere that stated, that there should be no username/password required, and the user was asked to check if the git version was correct.
In my case, "git --version" returns:
"git version 2.10.1 (Apple Git-78)"
How can I fix this?

Hello, I have a HP Elitebook Revolve 810 G3. It seems to share quite a bit of hardware with other models and should only need some tweaks. I've attached the requested files.

Currently I have most everything working with the exception of sound and the battery indicator (displays an X plugged in or not). I'm using USB wifi as I am waiting for a broadcom 802.11ac mPCI card to come in.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

BCM94350ZAE woks fine on ECS Liva Core, but always get panic if I enable it in BIOS on HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1.

Your config.plist is not up-to-date with respect to the github project.

Same version as mine. I have full Xcode installed. No password required to clone a git repo.

Hi, after I `git pull and build.sh', the result config.plist as I rename `config_1020_G1_Broadwell.2016-12-19.plist' are the same I am using. Could you please point which part is different if i had a fool mistake...... thanks a lot :D

Attach ~/Projects/probook.git as ZIP (please remove the 'downloads' directory first).

Thanks.
But..... then what do I do when I'm asked for username and password?
I've tried various usernames with a blank password, but I just get "authentication failed"...
Same if I try with blank username.
What am I supposed to write?

Thanks.

Something is wrong with your system or internet connection. It should not be asking for a password.
I don't know the cause.

Start over and follow the guide as written.

Ok - I guess the problem was something around having the pc on for extended period of time, going on and off sleep.
I closed the terminal windows, opened it again, and now it worked.
Anyways, your answers come FAST!!!
Thanks a bunch :)
