Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Mistakes
1. use ssdt_hdef-1-100-hdas, not ssdt_hdef-3-100-hdas
2. use audio_cloverALC-120.command OR audio_pikeralphaALC-120.command, NOT both
3. not necessary, download and install ssdt_hdmi_hd5x0
4. audio_cloverHDMI-120.command installs ssdt_hdmi_hd5x0

Mistakes must be corrected or the Posts will be deleted.

Toleda, I'm so sorry but I can't remove #150 post and not edit #149! I click Edit on a post but I don't allow me to do anything, sorry I'm a noob....
for the guide, I don't know that audio_cloverHDMI-120.command installs ssdt_hdmi_hd5x0 thanks.
But what's the difference beetween ssdt_hdef-3-100-hdas and ssdt_hdef-1-100-hdas ? I only Install the number "1" and work...
Many thanks for all your work guys

good evening honourable Toleda,

a question: does the "audio pikealphaALC-120.command" (as below) actually patch the native AppleHDA or just kernel cache? Reason: after running the command is the AppleHDA still native as required for other "audio_clover-ALC-120.command", which I wanted to run, but mistakedly picked the one below (VERY similiar names for someone in-a-hurry, which of course one never should be when patching/running commands!) So before correcting, i.e. running the audio_clover version of the script, I'd like to know what the first script patched... Thanks!

  1. audio_pikeralphaALC-120.command.zip
    1. patch kernel cache
    2. native AppleHDA.kext (signed)
    3. installs AppleHDAxxx.kext (ex., L/E/AppleHDA892.kext)
    4. not supported: ALC269 and ALC283

Both scripts patch kernel cache with the same patches
The are are 2 to 4 codec specific files. layout1, layout 2 ... and Platforms, that are treated differently. As noted in Post #1, cloverALC adds the renamed files to the native /S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext while pikeralphaALC adds the files to /L/E/AppleHDAxxx.kext where xxx is the specific code.

Hi! I don't know this is the right place to post this or not, but here is my problem:
Some day ago, my hack's sound had "no output" error. I'm new to this sound section so I really don't know what I did, but today when my hack booted, I got a fully working sound... my question is: How can I identify what I did? or What is my current settings for sound? I want to know, because If I update or reinstall my hack, I will need the right way for sound... thx for any answer.

One problem happened as I changed my configdata with my Xcode - I paste <00571c10 00571d00 00571e56 00571f58 00671c20 00671d00 00671e56 00671f18 00771c30 00771d00 00771e56 00771f58 00571c10 00571d00 00571e56 00571f50 00671c20 00671d00 00671e56 00671f10 00771c30 00771d00 00771e56 00771f50>, and as I pressed Enter, the value became blank. What should I do? My codec is Intel Haswell HDMI.

But when I deleted these items, Xcode told me my entry is not invalid.

Another question is what app can let me edit layout12.xml.zilb? Xcode can't do this. Thanks~~

Xcode works:
ConfigData/Data/00571c10 00571d00 00571e56 00571f58 00671c20 00671d00 00671e56 00671f18 00771c30 00771d00 00771e56 00771f58 00571c10 00571d00 00571e56 00571f50 00671c20 00671d00 00671e56 00671f10 00771c30 00771d00 00771e56 00771f50
