Regarding audio, I now have it after following this guide: https://www.******.com/r/hackintosh/comments/4sil5p/audio_mechanic_old_patchfix_removal_applealc/

So far so good other than the screen artifacts. I seem to be missing temperature sensors, and I probably need to make sure the CPU power saving/throttling/turbo is actually working.

Hi avidracer, sporkman,
How do you fix the onboard graphic flickering in the top left? I have been searching "piker alpha" with no success. Other then that, it seem a solid hackintosh for me so far. My configuration as following:

My Configuration:
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
  • Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
  • Video Card: On board
  • Storage: HDD, M.2 SSD once success

Thanks in advance.

I following the guide to a T, minus KextBeast, but I cannot get ANYTHING to work. I am able to install Mac OS X, but I cannot get Wifi to work, sound over HDMI; I get some extremely strange artifact glitching as well. I haven't tested for iMessages, since I cannot get the internet to worked. I just flashed my BIOS is F4 (was F5), so I'm going to give this another shot and see what happens.

Could anyone help me out? :/

EDIT: I want to mention I have a GTX 1080 installed as well, but I have switched it to the integrated graphics and what not in the BIOS during installation.

Alright, so it looks like I managed to get this to work. I tried to apply the pixel patch so that my computer would do 4K resolution, but when I did that, my TV would not display out anymore. I've got everything working except for 4K, but when I switch to it, I lose connection or something. Nothing will be displayed on my computer. Now sadly, I must have hit something because when I boot into mac OS X, it still has the same issue. Is there anyway around this, or do I need to do a completely new install?

EDIT 2: Went ahead and just reinstalled from scratch. Now I've got everything working minus iMessage and 60Hz at 1080p. Don't care that much about it, since I'm mostly using this for programming. This is so awesome.

Hi ElfinHilon10,

looks like I have the similar situation as you. I got 1920x1080, 2560x1080 works perfect with onboard graphic but not the 4K. even with the pixel patch. How do you get it work with 4K?

attached is my plist for your reference. (SIMBIOS information has been removed) . Can you upload yours? I would like o see what the different in between

For iMessage, anyone get it to work? I did generated a SN which is good with apple's coverage check and network port is en0. but still cant get it to work. Friend told me could I must have WiFi installed (current none). Is that the case? if yes, any suggested WiFi card as a best replacement with the onboard one?

Thanks in advance.

Update: anyone get dual monitor to work with onboard graphic? If yes, I may wanna give it a try. Just need to order a DVI to HDMI cable.

Ironically, I applied Toleda's HDMI through Audio patch and that's actually what ended up making 4K to work. I cannot go above 30Hz, but that's honestly fine for me at this point. I don't want to tinker with this any more and possibly ruin it.

Thanks for the info. I will give it a try.

BTW, are you able to get dual video output to work?
