DANG IT I just bought this 1070 SC didn't even think to check if a driver was available. Does anyone have mac dev account they apple released a beta 10.12.2 three days ago maybe the support drivers are in that. http://www.macworld.com/article/314...s-102-watchos-311-and-macos-sierra-10122.html

Developer beta info is not discussed due to Apples NDA agreement. You can talk freely about public beta in the forum though.
Apple has no nvidia 10** series cards in any of its hardware to support - so I wouldn't expect Apple to have any support soon. nVidia hopefully will bring support soon although with the holiday season almost upon us time is short out for a December 2016 release.....We really are in a hurry up and wait situation with regard to macOS having really good gpu support.

As long as you didnt sign the NDA, you are allowed to say whether it has support for 10xx or not (assuming you know).

You can't get the Developers macOS versions without signing the NDA. I recommend you drop the subject.

We should all also be aware that nvidia have to date not released macOS drivers for the latest cards.

Using the above known information you should be able to deduce if there is 10** series support in the latest Apple developer beta.

Incorrect this site has a valid position on developer beta release software. A little refresher on the rules here:

Rules said:
This site allows discussion of pre-release software (such as OS X Public Beta software builds) from the free Apple Beta Software Program. This site does NOT support pre-release Apple Developer Program Beta software, and does NOT allow the discussion of installation or use of Apple Developer Program Beta software. Repeated violations of this rule will result in a permanent ban. No Apple Developer Program Builds, Apple Beta Software Program builds only.

I hope this clears up where we all stand. We are all very eager to see support for these cards come to macOS.

Next AMD cards *will be* supported, and will be way more powerful than current top Nvidia ones. And they will probably be almost OOB on MacOS. Apple has signed a very fat contract with AMD? Cool, who cares, the 0,001% of the market (hckintoshers) will buy next gen AMD cards. Where is the problem? Is this worth another sweep of your censorship? Who are you working for? Do you or do you not agree with Apple's way of delivering 5K screens with 3 year old laptop cards, or are you up for expressing your own mind, and getting those money-obsessed hobos right on track?

Worth a try, thanks for the link Tony.

I think the best way to get NVIDIA's attention is to keep posting in their forum- 8 pages now. I spotlighted the link just now on facebook and twitter to see if we can rally more posts.

Request from Hackintosh community, they probably can't reply officially, otherwise how would Apple think....
