Update with the white bar at top, I disabled the boot graphics glitch fix and it went away (though the boot graphics is glitchy now -oh well) But the bottom roughly centimeter is continously glitching about to cause me an epileptic seizure.

Ive included the requested files as well as a short video of the bottom portion of screen.

Thanks!

I couldn't open the .mp4.
You should set DVMT-prealloc as required so you can get rid of the minStolenSize patch.
Also, IGPU PM is not implemented. CPU PM is not implemented.
Backlight control also not implemented.
You might also want to try other ig-platform-id values.

Great thanks! I'll look into those things now..

As for the DVMT, the bios is locked, and other methods Ive tried have been unsuccessful (efi shell and linux efivars)

Also, I converted that short .MP4 to a .gif, As you can see it flickers between white, black, and the actual image. It worsens more with more graphics intensive actions..

EDIT: I changed the Resolution to 2560x1440 with SwitchResX and the flickering screen problem at the bottom has gone away.. @BJK2142 Have you had a chance to try and sort things out?

@11orourkec I tried using your Clover playlist, and then your whole Clover since we have the exact machine. I still can't fully boot and get stuck at the throttle=100ms thing if I keep the fake graphics ID and platform ID active. Did you change any settings in your BIOS to get that working?

@BJK2142 Hmm make sure you have the iokit pixel clock patch installed. Just keep everything you have there and boot with 12345678 instead of the 191e8086. Sounds like the only thing you're missing at this point. I didn't change anything in bios. I have boot uefi only and csm No

Note that a "plist" file is not a "playlist". It is a "property list".

will do - is your platform ID 0x191b0000?

I got recognition of 1500MB of video memory now! so much better! Thank you @11orourkec ! We gotta keep figuring this out so we can get all the functionality out of our laptops with Mac OS as we can

@11orourkec have you figured out battery status yet?
