First, let's not hijack sunnyj's thread since the questions you're asking are not about his build. Second, here is your answers, briefly. Finally, if you have any more questions on my build, please post in my thread(s). TIA.

1) I build the system before Sierra was released. Thus, I installed El Capitan.

2) The i7-6800K is a 2011 socket processor. The 100 series motherboards have a 1151 processor socket. (Socket is the term for the motherboard processor connection.) The highest model number processor you can use on a 100 series motherboard is the i7-6700K.

3) I don't use PCI SSD so I don't know.

4) Gigabyte motherboards have a history as the easiest to adapt to a hackintosh. However, my ASUS GENE and HERO was very easy, too. Motherboard BIOS in the Gigabyte and ASUS motherboards are easy to setup. The Buyer's Guide lists all the motherboards that will work.

5) Each motherboard has a Memory Support List or Memory Qualified Vendor list where the motherboards were tested with various memory manufacturer's model number sets. So, determine the motherboard, then choose the memory that is on the list. The Buyer's Guide memory recommended on 99% of the motherboard manufacturer's qualified lists.

6) Hell yes! Otherwise I wouldn't have built it!

This
it's not a PCI ssd?
Also the i7-6800k is released on 2011? :O Just saw benchmarks that 6800k was better than 6700k saw i though that it was newer.
What do you suggest?

@Stork Hello ... I followed your instructions but I'm not able to boot.

Here is the error:

Hope you can help!

The Samsung SM951 M.2 PCIe SSD (AHCI model) uses a M.2 socket on the motherboard, not a PCIe socket. It requires a motherboard to support PCIe/SATA thru a M.2 socket.

No, no, no! The i7-6800K requires a socket 2011 type. That's not a year, but a socket designation that the processor fits into on the the motherboard. The 2011 socket motherboards (IIRC) are the X99 motherboards.

Okay thanks i will folow your build and i will setup a similar machine, i will start orderd piecies tomorrow! couldn't find X99 motherboard on buyer's guide so I imagine it have hard setup.
Suggest me please a motherboard between your motherboard on hero build vs This

I'm still having all sorts of stability oddities even after two reinstalls on my Hero Alpha. About ready to lose my mind. All kinds of apps just spontaneously crash with very odd errors. Anyone else seeing anything similar on 10.12.0 or 10.12.1?

stork any chance you can share your config.plist for this build? I'm getting nowhere trying to get my machine past this black screen upon boot.

Also, your guide doesn't cover SMbios settings... are there recommended settings for this configuration? I don't think the skylake 17,1 option works even though thats the closest to my build.

TIA!

I don't like to share the config.plist as it has iMessage information in it.

Don't forget to change your config.plist for the new Clover method of activating the Nvidia web drivers: New Method for Enabling NVIDIA Web Drivers in Clover.

The System Definition is defaulted to the MultiBeast for Sierra's iMac14,2 which replaces the older default setting of Mac Pro 3,1; the iMac14,2 seems to work with any configuration. As for the rest of the SMBIOS (and as I stated in the What Works paragraph), I used P1LGRAM's easy method to get iMessage working.

Hey guys,

I would to share with you that my mackintosh is finally working.

Differently from @Stork I'm not using a dedicated video card, I'm using the HD530.

I follow everything very carefully and it didn't work at the beginning. It was crashing during the boot process as you can see

To fix it, you must adjust on your bios the DVMT preallocated memory, setting it to the highest value possible. It solved the kernel panic!!!!!

Everything seems to work on 10.12.1, except continuity.

@Stork I guess you could add this information on your guide for those who are using the HD530.
