[README] Common (some unsolved) Problems in 10.12 Sierra

I haven't tried Karabiner. The Safari/HD4400 bug is still present. SysPrefs->Displays still not working without patched EDID.

Still wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver then. I know with the locking up I've had i just reverted back to 10.11.6.

I have Intel HD 4400/1080p display and Display prefpane works without any extra efforts...

Yes. It depends on the EDID content of your internal display. If you have an acceptable EDID, then no patching required.
That is why it works on some, but not others.

But you will likely notice the HD4400 lockup with Safari if you visit a problematic website (the two problems are unrelated).

I finally got the DW1830 (BCM943602BAED) :D
I can confirm that it doesn't need the fcvo patch...

UuuuGgggHhhh ! I was so looking forward to getting rid of the problematic, unreliable, headache/PITA Broadcom BCM94352HMB card with the DW1830 BCM943602BAED that doesn't require any worthless patch. I am so disappointed that after receiving the BCM943602BAED in the mail and opening up my laptop, when comparing the two cards, the BCM943602BAED is narrower then the BCM94352HMB and therefore does not fit squarely into the slots on the motherboard of my HP Envy 15T K series laptop.

Quite discouraged at this point and in wanting to free myself from this hassle, I am resigned to either continue using a USB Wi-Fi adapter and the BCM94352HMB for working bluetooth or return the original/stock Atheros Wi-Fi card which supposedly also works natively in macOS 10.12 and either ditch bluetooth compatibility or research other (USB ?) alternatives.

There are two major WiFi card form factors currently in use:
- half-mini PCIe, for older laptops
- M.2 2230 (NGFF), for newer laptops

For half-mini PCIe (vs. NGFF M.2 2230), you want BCM94360HMB.

BCM943602BAED is M.2 2630.

Never heard of M.2 2630. My BCM943602BAED is M.2 2230.

I don't think you read my post very carefully (nor the post I was replying to).

I did read your post, and the post you were replying to... But it's very clear that my BCM943602BAED is a bit wider than my old BCM94352Z, it couldn't fit easily on my Lenovo Z50-70, I had to move it right and left so I could fit it... I found out that it's 2630 on a website online so I don't really know... But it's clearly not the same size as BCM94352Z (which is supposed to be M.2 2230).

This shows 2230: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Dell_Wireless_1830_(DW1830)

No such thing as 2630 here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2

At any rate, @gpatpandp is trying to replace a half-mini PCIe card with an M.2 card, which of course is not going to work.
