• SIP: Explaining OS X El Capitan Security Changes - Workarounds and Current Information I edited the plist to partially disable SIP.
  1. Install audio/updates/problem solving: Disable (Not exactly sure what this is suggesting I do)
  2. Post install: Enable (Same here, enable what?)

• CLOVER/config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/NO (all or remove) Does this mean remove all the fixes under DSDT/Fixes or just the one's pertaining to HDA? The only one I see is <key>FixHDA_8000</key>

Finally found the solution to this after days of scratching my head.
Needed HDAEnabler kext in the Clover kexts folder as attached.

I am more of a newbie to this so I am not sure what audio device I am using. My board is a gigabyte x58a-ud3r, I have Sierra up and running but no sounds as of yet. Any help is appreciated.

Had sound working with 10.11 files (892) but deleted them and restored original AppleHDA, ran patch and it works, thanks
Now to get rid of the annoying pop when my amp wakes up.. seems antipop doesn't work anymore? At least it doesn't for me..

Which files did you delete other than the AppleHDA? I can't seem to get the patch to work.
