@RehabMan i created SSDT.aml for power management using beta branch of piker-alpha and copied it in acpi/patched, but still my laptop restarts 10 seconds after clicking on sleep; so, which ACPI patches should i make?

@RehabMan Hello, I'm back! I was able to install Mac OSX 10.11.5 to my Acer Aspire! I had to patch DSDT's and the installer recognized the internal HDD . Everything is working (microphone, sound, trackpad - limited -, wifi - usb dongle -) but I'm not able to set up the graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 5500). I tried pretty much everything. Read all the posts here but as I'm not able to set DVMT due to crappy bios, I'm pretty much stuck. Please help! I'm almost done. Very happy!

i deleted some files from patches folder and then the installation was successful and now I'm at desktop of EL capitan

Thanks for your help man! I also managed to install OSX to my laptop after figuring out how to patch the DSDT's. Now the installar "sees" the internal drive. Now I'm having trouble setting up the graphics card. Were you able to fix it? Mine is showing "Graphic Card 7MB". Thanks a lot.

Since you can't set DVMT-prealloc, you could try the minStolenSize patch, but it is likely to be unstable.

Hi Rehabman. Thanks for the reply. I actually figured out (thanks to wowbroforce: https://github.com/wowbroforce/acer-aspire-e5-573g-el-capitan/issues/1) to access the advanced tab in my bios insydeh20. I set DVMT to 64MB, disabled both Intel Virtualization and Vt-d but it still doesn't work. Is there another setting in clover or an additional kext I might need?

Provide output (in Terminal):

kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

Hi Rehabman. Thank you. My issue is that the VRAM is set to 7MB and everything is laggy, I can't even watch a youtube video. It's impossible as the screen flickers pretty much all the time. I have already set DVMT (BIOS) to 64MB (also tried with 96MB and 128MB, same result)

If done properly, the resulting file is much smaller than 16mb. Please read the request carefully.
