[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI (10.11)

Hello, Rehabman I found one project (https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC) for replacement of idt92hd91bxxinject.kext.

Interesting project, but would require a bit of study and testing before I would adopt it here...

Note: The files it claims to use for this codec appear to be from an old version of the same repo here...

The files were updated by this commit: https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-Envy-DSDT-Patch/commit/4183b566925677895f34b8c73f241589dfb8913d

We could easily go back to the files just before that in commit: a3c04620037f3092926bab6228e92f289eb9612e

Hi there,

so I followed this guide to the letter. after I applied all the patches and rebooted I get a blue clover screen (normally black) but no boot options. I have to boot off my USB.

any help would be amazing.

ps first post, first hackintosh, very basic understanding of what is going on.

Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (remove 'themes' prior to compressing as ZIP).

Thanks for the reply. I have attached my CLOVER folder excluding the themes folder.

Should mention that I am on a HP ENVY 15-K002TX

thank you for any help

This Clover folder is not per-guide:
- guide does not use OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi
- guide uses HFSPlus.efi
- you have no kexts in Clover/kexts/Other

The config.plist and ACPI/patched appears to be correct.

Have added HFSPlus
Removed OsxAptioFix2Drv-64
Added fakesmc, Intelmausiethernet, Realtekrtl8111, and voodoops2controller kexts

Can now see boot options but doesn't boot. Using -v I see it doesn't load past the +++++++++++
At the very start

You need OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi as per guide. Please read it carefully.

Sorry I was confused by your last post. Saying it wasn't used.

Anyway boots up perfectly now!
Audio still out (but I haven't done the fix part of the guide yet, will do now)
I do have some really weird graphical artifacts though, like over the top bar with the apple logo and on the login screen

I said OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi is not used.
But OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi is used.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Never mind in fixing the audio the glitches went away
So I and guess the fix is to clear the caches and reboot

thanks for the help!!
