You can install the SSDTs manually if you prefer. They go in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched.

Haha I finally got it working!! - All installed fine... (I have writing/reading problems which never help with any of this!)

One problem is I don't have any sound!

I have git installed. As but I can't get the development to find the files quoted in post 1# Eg. SSDT-2x70.dsl

They are created with ./build.sh in the config subdirectory. Read the guide carefully. Follow it exactly.

Make sure you follow the instructions in "Known Problems", "Audio". If still not working, read post #1, "Problem Reporting"

All working know... Interesting issue I have come across though. Don't hit the Wifi button that's closes to the screen other wifi doesn't work and I can't get it to turn back on sigh...

The WiFi button works, but depending on the hardware installed the LED doesn't reflect the true state of power to the WiFi radio.

Thats one thing i noticed with my 4530s. The WIFI/Bluetooth light goes to orange when Bluetooth is working in Mavericks but Snow Leopard and 10.11.4 is a different story its strange.

Well I got it working again by loading off my usb installation disk into osx with the original settings which some how activate the connection again. Then rebooted again with out the usb which got it working again! So on Elitebook 2570p don't go hitting the wifi button!

You could also copy the file using Finder.

After copying the config.plist from the repo to EFI/Clover/config.plist, you should customize the SMBIOS so you have a unique serial. You can use Clover Configurator to do this (use google to find/download it). DO NOT use Clover Configurator to edit your actual config.plist. Instead edit a "dummy" config.plist to create the SMBIOS data and then use copy/paste with a plist editor (I use Xcode) to copy the SMBIOS section into my active config.plist. Clover Configurator is too buggy and cannot be trusted with edits to your real config.plist. Make sure you use the same SMBIOS model as the original plist used.

Repeat: DO NOT edit your config.plist with Clover Configurator. Clover Configurator will erase important settings from the config.plist, and as a result, it will not work.

Hello! Forgive me if this is somewhere else, but i've been searching for a good 6 hours trying to locate instructions on how to accomplish this. I screwed up my boot last time, so i'd like to be sure I'm doing this correctly to prevent having to redo the post install once again. Here is where I'm at:

1. I've made a copy of my config.plist and placed it on the desktop.
2. I opened the copy with Clover Configurator.
3. I'm under the SMBIOS tab on the left, but the only information that is populated to the right is "Product Name". That has MacBookPro8,2 in that box, but nothing else is populated.

Where do I go from here? Sorry again if this is answered somewhere else, but I've already screwed this up twice. Don't wanna go for the charm of the third time.

Thanks in advance!

Use the magic wand. Don't edit your config directly though. Use a plist editor to copy/paste after you are done.
