Hi!

I recently installed 10.11 onto my XPS 13 9350 and aren't able to get wireless working correctly. I've tried FakePCIID, along with taping pins and neither solution works. The card is picked up by the system, MAC address is correct, etc. But I'm never able to turn on the card.

Apparently this device ID belongs to the same wireless card that's in the 12" MacBook, so I'm a bit confused as to why it isn't working.

Did you patch ACPI correctly?

I have the XPS 13 9350. That guide is for the XPS 15 9530.

Should I still try to apply the same patches?

It may be similar, but probably not...

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Mobo: Dell XPS 13 9350 (Clover)
CPU: i7-6560u
Graphics: Iris 540, 3200x1800

Mobo: Dell XPS 13 9350 (Clover)
CPU: i7-6560u
Graphics: Iris 540, 3200x1800

As far as your WiFi card, make sure you patch ACPI correctly.

Skylake graphics are a no-go at this point... (no Macs released that use it).

I just followed VBOs guide located here. Should I apply any more patches other than what he posted?
