"Waiting for DSMOS" without a corresponding "DSMOS has arrived" implies that FakeSMC is missing or not loading.
Thanks for this feedback. I wound up reinstalling everything, and El Capitan booted, worked for a few hours again, and then on restart hung with the same error. Do you think it might be a hardware issue?

If you have the same screen (no "DSMOS has arrived"), then it is the same issue.

FakeSMC is required.

Perhaps you forgot to disable SIP and a recent cache rebuild built kernel cache without FakeSMC?

Well, I don't think I disabled SIP but I'm not sure where that is done in the guides that I've been following? I know how to disable SIP in a real Mac; is the process different in building a Hackintosh?

EDIT: From what i read you do it via editing your Config file. From a booting system (El Cap), would I?
1) Open Clover, Mount EFI
2) Copy and add lines of code to the config.plist - Does where matter?
<key>RtVariables</key>
<dict>
<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
<string>0x3</string>
<key>BooterConfig</key>
<string>0x28</string>
</dict>

Hello from Greece

As was "Essentials.pkg" problem concerns, I made the following actions to solve it:

I made a clean Installation of my Mavericks OS and I create again El Capitan boot USB.

I didnt change anything on my Hardware (usb, ram). I also disable screensaver and sleep function in order to prevent any interruption.

Now my USB is bootable.

I made a clean install and installation succesfully completed.

I install post installation files succesfully ( Legacy boot root)

The problem now is that I cant boot without USB. Bootloader starts but when I select to boot from to el capitan it stack at pci configuration begin.

Although when I try to boot from Hardisk using USB, I can boot without any problem.

What can I do for this problem?

I updated from Yosemite to Capitan. Now, I'm a reboot loop by kernel panic that I don't understand...

Any idea to fix using command line parameters?

my specs:

Z77-DS3H – i5-3570K @ 4.2GHz – VTX3D HD 7870

I think you have FakeSMC plugins installed, and I think the old version of CPUSensors in particular causes this panic. If you remove the plugins (and rebuild cache if they're on the system drive not injected via Clover) then it should go away.

2. Can't get to (Clover) boot menu
Boot0af error :

i found another solution (here or elsewhere)

Boot from usb to el capitan (ssd or hdd)
than open terminal
diskutil list to see all drives

than
diskutil corestorage revert /dev/diskX (x the drive with corestorage)

reboot again with usb pendrive (to be sure)
Intall Clover Again on el capitan drive

That's it, you can boot without usb pendrive

no more boot0af error:

Nv_disable worked for me. Next issue was keyboard and mouse not working, but changing to front USB3 ports fixed that. :)

This was exactly the same problem i had. Switching keyboard and mouse to front usb3 fixed it.
