Its exactly the same except for 8gbs of ram and a BCM94322HM8L wifi card, I bought that for its OSX compatibilty

I deleted SSDT-4.aml now its just hanging at the apple install, black screen, white apple logo, progress bar which isnt moving

Also even after deleting SSDT-4.aml the wifi seems to be working

Ok installing now, I will let you know what happens, provided it works, can I update ok to the latest patch with this?

Its been stuck saying "about a second remaining" for a good few minutes now, is this a known issue?

Different hardware ! But It should be OK now ... any improvement ?

Last step is often script, it usually takes longer than indicated ... sometimes a simple "restarting" takes minutes (on a mSATA SSD, ,not mentioning a USB HDD)

Hey, so i seem to have a working install now, showing as macmini, with custom serial, I installed clover to it, and deleted SSDT-4.aml again, seems to work fine, I am trying to update it now.

Sebinouse! it is working perfectly, thanks so much for the help, at least we know what the problem was now!

FWIW, I also don't think the 'safe defaults' in BIOS are correct for this build. I tried them, got a freeze after Clover as soon as the Apple logo appeared whether booting from the HD or the USB installer.

I reset all the BIOS settings to the ones I had written down (including turning Turbo Boost back on) and then the system started booting correctly again.
