This is the patched IOKit. Is it patched correctly ?

It doesnt work. Still scrambled image at the bottom and remains at the boot text. I suspect HDMI is working but cant test.

Perhaps your problem lies elsewhere. Boot without caches and rebuild cache.

Use HDMI monitor.

Post ~/Projects/y50.git folder (omit ./downloads to make file size smaller).

Also, EFI/Clover folder from USB.

My guess: You have the wrong config.plist on your USB.

It is as I suspected.

USB is not prepared according to the guide. The config.plist you're using is wrong.

Keep in mind we don't use the config.plist from the y50 repo on the USB.

I did it all
But the problem now that the system 10.11 operates without Sound
And does not let me update to 10.11

I saw that El Capitan has some USB problems and that some laptops need to pe patched and some dont.

Does the Y50 need the patch ?
Did you apply any other patches for El Capitan ?
What happens if I dont apply the USB patch for El Capitan ? Some USB ports don't work or what ?

Also, can I update directly from App Store ?

All USB ports work oob with the FakeSMC_XHCIMux. The kexts installed include that same file, also with the port injector with the ports I narrowed down earlier last week. In a sense it's redundant, but USB is not a problem for the Y50

Make sure you use the correct version of IORegistryExplorer (v2.1).
