You need to boot with nv_disable=1 Your GPU requires the nvidia web drivers. This will prevent the Nvidia drivers from being loaded and should allow you to continue with the installation process..

Do everyone a favor and go to "profile" and add your system hardware, so that people wont have to refer to your individual posts to know what components you have and need help with

thank you :), will do

do i need to unplug the nvidia-card and use the onboard graphics? or does it work with the card and nv_disable=1?

Hi,

I'm about to try and reinstall Yosemite using clover as my install has started doing the random freezing thing...

Should I use config.plist-standard for a z68x-ud3h-ub3 with HD3000 with F12 BIOS?

Cheers,

Dave.

The standard config.plist should work fine for you, as for most installs.. I would recommend looking for some similar builds to yours and see if you can find anything that they chose, or did differently as the standard plist includes DSDT 'fixes" and things that you probably wont need. But it is a good place to start and should get you up and running..

Either method would work.. Once you get up and running you can install the web drivers and then wouldnt need the boot flag any longer

If I'm using F12 BIOS NOT UEFI should I still install into /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ ???

Cheers,

Dave.

HD3000 is a nightmare btw. I think I'll be on later for some advice...

To answer my own question, no i shouldn't. And HD3000 is less of a nightmare - I have full graphics now, about this Mac is just showing Intel HD Graphics 2000 512 MB instead of 3000 - any ideas anyone???

Quick question.

I'm pretty sure I followed the guide 100%. I can start my computer, hit the hot key to choose what to boot from, and boot into the clover menu (BOOT OS X Install, Start UEFI Shell, options, etc.)
I chose BOOT OS X Install and the apple logo and a progress bar pops up.
Once the progress bar finishes, the computer restarts and comes back to this Clover menu.

Anyone know whats wrong. I thought it was supposed to boot into the installer.

Thanks

Tell the group the last thing you see after enter kext-dev-mode=1 -v in the Clover options (under boot arguments)
