Hey RehabMan. I have a Dell (i15-5448) with i7-5500u - 8gb - radeon r7 m265 2gb.
First before make a full install, i decided to test with VirtualBox. Installed Mavericks and everything is working well but no radeon. Does it have any kexts especifc for ati mobility cards?
I searched deeply on web and founded only some old topic at insanelymac (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...or-mobility-be-working-by-using-clover/page-2).
Not sure if only a full install (withou virtual machine) will work. Any toughts? Thanks man!

Off-topic. Not covered by this guide. This guide is for Haswell 3x37/5x37/7x37.

Radeon not supported when Intel is present. VMs have little to do with real hardware.

since reinstalling the latest version of Yoemite, I can't get Audio to run. Has anything changed since the tutorial was written? Followed exactly the steps, I can't get it run.

ALC283 is the same as my Lenovo u430. You can use AppleHDA_ALC283.kext in my u430 repo...

Requirements:
- Clover bootloader
- config.plist must have the four AppleHDA patches from my config.plist in the repo
- AppleHDA.kext must be vanilla
- CodecCommander.kext installed to /S/L/E: https://github.com/RehabMan/EAPD-Codec-Commander
- AppleHDA_ALC283.kext installed to /S/L/E
- rebuild cache following the procedure detailed in the u430 guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...ideapad-u330-u430-u530-using-clover-uefi.html
- DSDT patches "IRQ Fix" and "Audio Layout 12", with layout-id changed from 12 to 86.


Note: There is also the alternate_audio branch (at same repo) that uses layout-id=3.

• What mean AppleHDA must be vanilla?
• Do I need to uninstall the appleHDA previously installed as mentioned in the tutorial?
