I changed the ig-platform-id to 0x0a2e0008 and for now it's working fine.

0xa2e0008 is different from 0xa260006 in these important ways:
- 64mb DVMT-prealloc (vs. 32mb)
- 34mb framebuffer (vs. 19mb)
- 21mb cursor bytes (vs. 6mb, usually patched to 9mb for resolution >1600x900)

It might be handy to have your screen resolution in your profile...

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Your signature is truncated at the bottom. Limit the number of lines in your signature...

I managed to use copy/paste to see it... 1440x810... weird resolution (but still 16:9, so OK).

Generally, 0xa260006 would be a good match for that resolution, but not if your BIOS uses 64mb DVMT-prealloc (perhaps you have an option in BIOS for that setting).

Cheers.

Did you buy yours from Partstore as the Lenovo 20200480? I cannot find this card anywhere- and I'm not in the USA so Partstore isn't an option (unless someone is kind enough to help me out :) )

I bought it from part store but they send me wrong one
It pops up in eBay and amazon from time to time so keep an eye. Its available in eBay as I speak. Please pm me related hardware questions as its kinda off topic.

The dsdt s worked for you, since I extracted them when I had 8gb ram. Please always extract your own dsdt , it is very simple procedure and its safe

Thanks for the guide, I now have OSX working on my system.
Only have one issue maybe someone can shed some light on. My system is unable to sleep and wake from sleep. When attemp to sleep the screen turns off but keyboard backlight, fans, activity leds are still on as if the system is not sleeping. Ive given it time but it just stays like that.

If I try to wake the system in this state nothing happens, nothing responds, I have to turn off the machine and reboot.

I have read many threads on this, have working cpu power management states, nothing is keeping the system from sleeping according to "pmset -g assertions". I am truly stumped and maybe someone can point me in a new direction.
