Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Use the latest PBI-CE to install. There should be no kext injection with the latest.
From where did you download Yosemite?
Will reinstall and use latest PBI-CE post-install, let's see what happens. Yosemite 10.10.3 is downloaded from App Store.

After reinstall and using latest PBI-CE:

Battery indicator is saying 0% again.

Graphical issue in top of the screen seems to be here to stay after booting (screen below). Text on the upper left corner is a bit garbled. I do have 9mb cursor patch in plist afaik. There are minor glitches on screen when Apple logo turns into login screen on startup also. Screen wakes after the sleep for a second and then goes black again.

Hi,

I've got two beginner questions, any help is much appreciated:

1) Post #1 lists "HP-branded Broadcom 43224HMS (582564-001/582564-002)" as working wifi cards for my HP Probook 6560b. Are the numbers listed in parenthesis product numbers and how can I find out whether I've got a wifi card with this product code - is there a software tool available for that?
In Windows device manager my wifi is listed as Broadcom 43224ag draft-n.

2) My hard disk was initially on mbr/ windows legacy boot. I then installed OS X following the clover uefi guide to discover that I should really have migrated windows to uefi first. I installed os x Yosemite to a mac extended partition.
I then migrated windows 7 to uefi.
I now have partition 1 = ca. 200 MB UEFI, partition 2 = windows msr 128 MB, partition 3 = NTFS Win 7 64 bit, partition 4 = Mac OSX extended
I can boot into the OSX installed on partition 4 by booting the uefi file from the USB stick and then chosing my install partition. I can also run HP Probook Installer. It finishes with a success message.
But I can't boot uefi from the hard disk even though I check write clover uefi bootloader... Booting from hard disk always results in a Win7 boot so I have to use the usb boot method to boot into Yosemite.
Should I re-install OS X Yosemite from the usb stick? Or is there a simple way to get a uefi boot menu entry on my hard disk for the OS X installation, perhaps some repair uefi boot utility for os x?

Thanks for your help,
mymac999

You already have the WiFi card you need.

It is not possible for the OS X installer to install to an MBR drive. It requires GPT. Did you install OS X to a second drive?

This is covered in post #1 in the dual-boot/Windows section. You need to rename bootmgfw.efi.

Repair permissions (Disk Utility) & rebuild cache (DPCIManager).

I´ve already done that countless times, re-run PBI, done the procedure again, and i still get no sound hardware detected

Try this:
- Remove /S/L/E/AppleHDAIDT.kext
- Run PBICE again.
