G5 USB 3.0 Front Panel and Audio

Sorry I was meaning the front of your case, not the front panel itself. I would like to see what it looks like from the exterior.

Also how much would it cost for a shipping to France?

I have yet to make a single board as its gonna cost me about 200 to start production and I don't have the money to spare right now. The front of the case will look identical to stock, and if you want two USB the you'll have to cut a small groove in the plastic liner for the FireWire port.

As for shipping, it shouldn't cost more than 10USD to France although I don't know the exact amounts.

So far, for the people who specified, everyone seems to be wanting the dual USB 3.0 version so I may end up eliminating the firewire port altogether. The connectors are really expensive, and it also takes up space that could be used for better purposes.

Still down for two, I supposed even without the FireWire connector... Would like to see a picture of how the plastic trim looks once it's been cut. And I'm also in the same boat - would be willing to pay in advance if it would help.

Time for an update.

So far, I'm most of the way done with the PCB design, I still have to borrow a multimeter from a friend and figure out the 4 Pole Audio circuit.

I've also attached pictures of the cut plastic liner, but keep in mind that I just did this with an xacto knife, so it could be a lot better. The USB you see is just a usb female to header cable that's hot glued to the original apple PCB, and is really janky.

Thanks you guys for offering to pre-order, I'll let you know how much the total is going to be, and for your support, I'm probably gonna throw in a discount of some sort. I'm still reluctant to do the cables as they are wayyy too expensive, but I'll look into what I can do about that issue.

Well if it's going to be dual USB3, then you can count me out. Darn... was hoping to keep it looking stock.
