This build is based on my current workstation build: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...ing-i3-4330-16gb-hyperx-geforce-gtx750ti.html. So they share some components. But this build is done for a friend of mine with a much smaller budget, so some expensive components are removed ore replaced from the list. (SSD, GFX, PSU, Case etc.)
So this build uses the integrated HD4600 in the CPU.
Build Tricks
This build don't uses the fan of the CPU cooler. Instead, the SilentWing 2 is mounted at the backside of the case in a 'sucking' configuration. So at all there are only two very silent fans in the system. The 120mm Case fan and the fan of the PSU.
Installation
UEFI BIOS: Just switch of VT-d. (OC -> CPU Features -> Intel Virtualization Technology -> Disable)
In the HardwareMonitor Section you will find the fan controls.
Installing OS X:
Summary
I would say, this is one of the easiest installations ever!
What doesn't work is the sound after going to sleep. I had this with my own system with the same board too. If I find any workaround, I will let you know!
As graphics card this build uses the HD4600. With this you are just fine with screens resolutions up to WQHD.
You also can activate UHD/4K for the HD4600. But even for 2D applications I strongly recommend to use a dedicated GPU for this, due the experience under 4K with the HD4600 war very poor. (Bad performance, not smooth...)
