I am getting the driver to load but I am not getting QI/CE acceleration. I am using the 3570k with the P8Z77-V LK. Any ideas?

*edit*
I fixed it! I changed MacPro to iMac12,2 in smbios.plist

*edit*
I restarted and it doesn't work again. I don't understand.

*Final edit*
For anyone that has the same problem I finally fixed it for good. I had to load a 'LegacyAGPM.kext' which allowed for all the necessary kexts to load.

For anyone interested I flashed this modified bios for the P8Z77-V LK board and I now have native power management without needing any power management kexts (nullcpupowermanagement, intelcpupowermanagement)

Here is the file (with DCPImanager):http://www43.zippyshare.com/v/72887430/file.html

You need to flash it using DCPImanager. ***Make sure you make a backup before flashing****

1. Open DCPI manager
2. Goto 'Misc' tab
3. Click 'Write ROM to disk' to save backup
4. Click 'Flash ROM from disk' and browse to the modified bios you extracted from zip file
5. BE PATIENT! It may take a bit. DO NOT RESTART COMPUTER until it says that it is finished.
6. Close program and delete any power management kexts you had installed previously.
7. Reboot and enjoy native power management! No need to install power management kexts ever again.

Thanks for the quick reply Chad!

Tried all of those things and still not working, but I booted it in safe mode and ended up seeing my Intel HD graphics system info: It says it's an Intel HD Graphics 2500, not 4000. I've been looking up some forums on how to change it, but I'm not sure where to find the file: AAPL,ig-platform-id

Any advice on how to change it to HD 4000?

Edit: I also might not have the patched
AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext 10.7.4

Tried to download a version online but it said it didn't install correctly when dropping it into the Extensions folder. Anyone have a download of it I could get or find?

Edit2: Note that's just my processor. It's naturally 2500, el crapo.

Any advice on dealing with a 2500 processor?

Edit3: Perhaps I can get around it because it obviously works, it boots up, just in safe mode though. Is there a way I can install drivers for the Geforce GTX 660 card and just have chimera boot using those specific graphics drivers instead of the Intel HD Graphics 4000?

Edit4: (That's a lot of edits) well as of now priority test #1 is to get the correct patched
AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext in my system folder and take it from there. Anyone have one I can download?

For Clarity:

org.chameleon.Boot.plist file - Check
smbios.plist. My smbios.plist is using the MacPro3,1 system definition. - Check
ALC892 Audio - Check
3rdParty SATA - Using SSD but used this driver - Check
FakeSMC - Check
AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement 10.7.4 Kext - Not yet
delete the NullCpuPowerPowerManagement kext - Check
run the Chimera 1.11.1 installer - Check
Graphics memory settings, either 96mb or 192mb - Check

Edit542543543543: I downloaded the drivers for Nvidia MAC and it works in safe mode! It didn't before! Trying to boot naturally though still is an issue, This AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext says timed out in the -v mode. So I think if I can get a correct version of that mother of god, it just might work!

I think it has to do with the version of AppleIntelCpuPowerManagment your using? The only time I ever had kernal panics
when using this particular MB is when I was trying to get sleep working by playing around with different power management kexts.
Try completely removing AppleIntelCpuPowerManagment and see if you can start up without normally....

Were you able to extract your current bios? Make sure you already have the newest bios update installed.

Nope, removed the entire applecpumanagement folder (They are in folders now, I assume from the Nvidia driver update) and still times out trying to load that file. :(

To get your hd4000 working try entering this in your boot plist (set graphics enabler to No and bios igpu memory to 32MB)

Code:
<key>device-properties</key>

<string>7f0000000100000001000000730000000200000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000005006201140000006800640061002d0067006600780000000d0000006f6e626f6172642d31</string>

I wasn't able to extract my current bios or flash to the modified bios. I made sure I'm using the latest bios for this board and still didn't work for me?

Are you using Mountain Lion? Try downloading the newest copy of DPCI manager. I just tried it again and it works fine for me.

Yes, I'm using Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I will download the latest version of DPCI manager and see if that works....
