I have not installed anything from MB apart from those listed earlier. (bootloader, userdsdt, ALC988 and Lnx2Mac Ethernet)
The system is at complete Fresh install state with these MB additions only.
Other things to note:
I have removed all PCI and usb extras.

I have exactly the same problem! I actually switched my HDD for a SSD thinking this would solve it but obviously didn't.
I am using a Novatech 600w ATX Modular power supply.

I know it doesn't answer your dual monitor question but it may help you decide if you want to continue using that Graphics...
Interesting, this was not an issue for me. However the mobo is different just the codec is the same. I am using Win7 at the moment so not too sure about this but can't you configure your audio ports on OSX? I will check this out later. On the plus side... you got it working :thumbup:
I think I would be right in saying that the nullcpu.... is your problem. you need to get rid of this. If you had nothing on ML, which it sounds like, my advice would be to do a fresh install and test this. For the sake of 30 minutes to do a fresh install, if you are in the position to do so then...
