    I Can't Get No Sleep - Literally! - GA-x58a-UD3R

I have not installed anything from MB apart from those listed earlier. (bootloader, userdsdt, ALC988 and Lnx2Mac Ethernet) The system is at complete Fresh install state with these MB additions only. Other things to note: I have removed all PCI and usb extras. I am running my Graphics card in...

    I Can't Get No Sleep - Literally! - GA-x58a-UD3R

It seems we have gone a bit off topic here so without further to do... I still cannot get my system to sleep. The system shuts down/sleeps and reboots/wakes instantly. :banghead: After a few bad installations using MB 5.0.2 and non-booting configurations, I have put my hack on a diet and after...

    GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, i5 3570k, Mountain Lion - NO AUDIO!

Interesting, this was not an issue for me. However the mobo is different just the codec is the same. I am using Win7 at the moment so not too sure about this but can't you configure your audio ports on OSX? I will check this out later. On the plus side... you got it working

I too have the ALC889 and the above is how I did mine. This should work for you too as rlf156 says.

    Help me please

I think I would be right in saying that the nullcpu.... is your problem. you need to get rid of this. If you had nothing on ML, which it sounds like, my advice would be to do a fresh install and test this. For the sake of 30 minutes to do a fresh install, if you are in the position to do so then...

    I Can't Get No Sleep - Literally! - GA-x58a-UD3R

Had a bit of time away from this project and as the new Multibeast is just around the corner, I will try a clean install with that when it comes and get this sleep issue sorted.
