While the 1st setup with uni-/multibeast was not that bad, I had all the issues with iCloud/AppStore/iMessage and most annoying also with USB - whenever I tried to connect a device into USB the system froze.

Started with a tryout install of Clover (r29xx) on USB to find the right settings. Reached login immediately to completely having lost my USB keyboard and mouse :)

Searched the web for hrs to finally find the solution: clover r2747 immediately made my day. All (except for an iMessage ticket) is there now. Used my mobos DSDT.aml in ACPI/patches, and the latest FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, and RealtekRTL8111 kexts in the kexts/10.10

That was all - sound, USB, graphics immediately worked!

I surely spend some more time with the clover configurator to generate a proper SMBios and all the other stuff described in the iMessage Fix thread.

UPDATE: see my post on page 2 - everything seems to be working perfect now :)

I have the same board and want to switch to clover. Can you post your clover config.plist please?
Thanks

Sorry, it is not that easy. It a) contains my unique serial and UUID and b) it not only depends on your board :)

I used Clover r2747 (because r29xx gave me no usb at all) and installed it "Legacy", so it was written on disk, but not on UEFI.
I just used the settings described here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/alternate-bootloaders/127134-test-drive-how-create-clover-usb.html
(first for an USB test drive but later also for my real install on HD)

Furthermore, my board uses a classical bios (F12), for which I downloaded the DSDT.aml from the database.
The attached pictures show my settings for the config.plist set with Clover Configurator.
If you do not have a DSDT, then on pic 1 nothing is to be selected!
Since you seem to use the Intel graphics you must inject it accordingly instead of my ATI (pic 3)

Thanks, I will tray.

Same here except I used r2795.

Oddly enough I used Clover Configurator after I got it all up and running to update to r2953 (the same version that DOESN'T work for booting with USB) and it boots just fine! :banghead:

cheers

Umpf - not working for me, did you apply special settings for USB in Clover?

Would you be so kind to send me screenshots of your Clover configuration?

You didn't update the USB installer to 2953 did you? I meant I updated Clover on the HD. If this is the case then just reinstall Clover r2795 (or whatever r27xx you used).
