Installation Notes
1. Create an USB installation stick according to this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
2. The V2 cpu are not supported by the standard kernel, so need to replace the /mach_kernel on the USB stick with the following custom kernel: http://www.osx86.net/files/download/3563-109-gm-ivy-bridge-e-kernel/
3. Install OSX following: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
4. Replace the kernel on the target drive with the kernel from the USB stick. Needs to be done in the terminal just after the installation finishes before loading into new install.
5. Load the new install. Run MultiBeast -> EasyBeast.
My settings are:
- 3rd Party SATA
- FakeSMC (latest)
- FakeSMC plugins + HWmonitor (you can avoid it).
- Intel Ethernet
- SmBios = MacPro 3,1
