Hi ZenBR. First congratulations for your great job.
I'm noob on hackintosh but learning so much last days.
I wanted to buy a mac mini to complement with my Imac 27, but the 256 MB dedicated graphic are a problem to play games like GTA 4.
Im thinking to made an Ivy Bridge Hackintosh gamer. I know that i must waiting for Mountain Lion Release to know if new motherboards and cpus wild be compatible or no.
My goal:
Silent HTPC for movies, Browser, Console Game + iCloud and AppStore + iWork
I like your configuration. Very interesting. I need too and ivy bridge configuration (mobo and cpu) and a dedicated graphic card.
My idea:
Case: Silverstone FT03 OK
Mobo: P8Z77-M Pro OK
CPU: Core I5 3750K or Core I5 2500K. ¿? (No need overclocking for me)
Ram: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance low profile DDR3 1600 8GB or Kingston ¿?
GPU: Nvidia GTX550 Ti or Radeon (HD 7750 or 7770) ¿?
HD: Dualboot 1x120 GB SSD (mountain lion) 1x60 GB SSD (windows 7) 1x2TB 3,5" Caviar Green
Will be connected by ethernet all time and HDMI (dedicated graphic card).
A few questions:
- Can Update to Mountain Lion and 10.8.x versions ¿It's possible?
- Can Play GTA 4 smoothly
- Can Use it as mediacenter for movies with Image/Audio by HDMI with dedicated or integrated graphic card ¿It's possible?
- Use Logitech Dinovo Mini as Keyboard with official Bluetooth stick ¿It's possible?
- Dual boot Mountain Lion (For Principal SO) and windows 7 (For Games) ¿It's possible?
Thanks. Any help will be appreciated.
Again Congratulations.
